Fantastic performance today, controlled it for 90 mins and deservedly won comfortably.

Great team effort, perfect set up, and crowd brilliant. So enjoyable to serenade those slags with “you’re fucking shit” and “Chelsea get battered everywhere they go”

COYS!!

edit: I forgot to mention that it was clear to me that we wanted to win more than they did today. We were way more aggressive and got in their faces. I loved it!!

Surprised there is so much difference of opinion, Romero was world class out there today, an absolute beast of a performance. Clear MOM for me

Hoijberg excellent again. Skipp did very well and a shout out to Davies who is now clearly first choice ahead of Peresic for the wing back position now.

And of course the never mentioned always brilliant Kane. He was part of everything, knitting everything together with his playmaking skills and a goal as a bonus.

As a team though the fighting, pressing and general workrate was superb. Sometimes with Son, it's felt like were playing with 10 men, Richarlison off the ball is different class and on the ball he is better as well.

I much prefer Son off the bench

Romero was immense, but whole team played well, much prefer sonny off the bench, richarlison gives us a lot more bite and better tracking back

Skippy for me.
Seems like he trusts his body not to break and it shows in his consistency.
Up until recently it was almost as if he was holding back a little but now the handbreak is ofg
(a bit like Cole Trickle in days of thunder after his big crash. If you know, you know)

I went with Royal. He looked so good again today. You can see his confidence increasing.

I didn't think there was a bad performance today. I feel sorry for Richy, his best work comes up top but he needs quicker supply. There a few times he linked up with some silky 1-2s down the middle.

Stellini was superb again. I hate the tactics but he made them work and made it look good.

Gave it to Skipp but, funnily enough, think that was Romero's best display for us. Absolutely imperious and on the right side of psychotic.

Royal continue to be the best Premier League RB of 2023

Word for Frazer ('not good enough' according to some) Forster too, who made a great save at Havertz feet when he needed to.

I'll give it to Emerson. He was everywhere and has a good awareness of where teammates are fir a pass or flick

8 Forster Looks commanding
9 Emerson Solid at the back and always looking to get forward
9 Romero Great anticipation in tackles and must be intimidating to play against
8 Dier Solid today
7 Lenglet Brought ball forward today, however can be slow when run at
8 Davies Used the ball well
9 Skipp Sees the next pass before receiving the ball. Great goal and use of the ball
8 PEH Unlucky with the shot
7 Kulu Held the ball well but not quite where he was last season with influence or shooting
9 Kane Always in the action and bringing teammates into play. Lovely 2nd goal to relieve the pressure
7 Richarlison Battles and gets in the face of opposition yet not much comes off from open play. I feel he is better when playing centrally

7 Son Great Corner. Must win 50 50's more often
N/A Porro. Loved the run down the right wing where you could tell he could drop a shoulder and go inside or outside. Looking forward to more

Great attitude from whole team

I know he’s in the team as a striker but I thought Richarlison’s play when Chelsea had the ball was exceptional; great pressing that really helped the defence.

Skipp pips Romero with the all important first goal, both followed hotly by a host of others led by Emerson.

Romero MOTM for me, he was like Kratos out there. He gets in the heads of the opponents you can see they hesitate just a fraction not knowing if they’re getting clattered or not

Romero wasn't bad, but I thought he was sloppy today. I remember a few times his dawdling could of been troublesome. Royal was the bollocks. The man has some engine.

I think he was only "sloppy" once - most of the time he was inviting the Chelsea players to close him down to frustrate them. Risky, for sure, but also intentional rather than sloppy.
