In the prediction thread I predicted 2-0 at half time with Vinicius to score first. Fulltime 4-0 with Vinicius to score the 1st after halftime. Fuck you Lucas Winks!

A good game where in my opinion we played in second gear. Glad to see the young ones being given a chance.

A good team effort but I will give Carlos MOTM for the two goals and the assist

Dele was very good first half, Ndombele was the best player on the pitch whilst he was on it, and Winks had a very decent game (but do think his goal was an overhit pass to Bale given his eyes were never on the goal!). But overall Vinicius was the stand out for his goals, assists and all round effort.

Easily gave it to Winks because my estimation of his xG vs. his actual number of goals was just off the charts tonight. Vinicius was good, but he didn't outperform his xG.

Vini. Love him so much already. It’s clear he has the perfect attitude to be our kane “backup”. His story is so inspiring and he deserves to be a success here.

Hard to really rate the side after such an easy match but Sanchez, Davies, Ndombele, Lucas delivered what you’d expect given the opposition.

Dele was more involved and more impactful than he’s been in a long time and that reflected in his several goal involvements.

Vinicius got off the mark and the first finish was cool as you like.

Doherty was up and down enough but felt he had ample opportunity to deliver and seemed to lack the final pass.

Bale showed a couple of mine flags and seemed more involved be I feel like he’s trying too hard.

Tanganga seemed assertive off the ball and calm on it, pleasing after so long without action,

Winks had some very nice moments and showed some two footedness with some good switches of play. Hilarious goal.

Hart could’ve filmed a head and shoulders advert.

Whiteman was our busiest goalie and he dealt with it.

Højbjerg came on to inject some energy and stop standard slipping, which he achieved.

Clarke struggled to get the beating of his man but as the hart wore on showed some great awareness and deft touches to bring others into play.

White looked tigerish and purposeful.

Scarlett looked to have a striker instinct, just needed a touch more composure but understandable that he didn’t given that he was a16 year old debuting for us.

Vini for showing how a proper backup striker is supposed to perform against weak opposition.

Dele my MOTM. I’ve been as critical of him as anyone this season, but I loved how he came on to quietly prove a point, and did so with no showboating, no twatting about, just excellent and unselfish play.

I don’t really have anything negative to say about any of our players after that performance, although a special mention has to go to Jose for allowing Clarke, Whiteman, White and Scarlett plenty of time on the pitch between them. Great decision to bring PEH on to run the show while the kids got the chance to find their feet.

Ι won't be surprised if Dele plays a part or even starts against Chelsea. Especially if GLC is out.

Tanganga all the way, brilliant performance. Lost count of how many times he won the ball in their half.

Dominant and confident. Wouldn't be surprised if Jose throws him straight in against Chelsea. So much potential there.

As for the others, Ndombele was great while he was on the pitch.

Honourable mentions to winks, Dele and of course CV.

No shots, they had zero shots, when does that happen?

Toss up between Vini and Ndombele, ive gone for Ndombele.

Tanguy was the driving force going forward, the heart of all things creative, he instigated most of the attacks going through him. He also worked very hard off the ball/ closing down/ casing etc ..

Vini was awesome in what he did, he worked incredibly hard especially off the ball, made some great intelligent runs. Took his goals well and great play when assisting lucas, he should be proud of his performance, also exactly what we need allowing to rest Kane and us still being potent infront of the goal, this helps us in so many ways.

Winks actually had a decent game, this type of game suits im where we have more of the ball. It helped that we were not pressed and put under pressure, but this type of performance if he can do against better opponents and cope with the more pressure / pressing time situations we you ave less time ton the ball and t think, then he can become a vital player, more than just a squad man.

Dele have to to mention him, he deserves it, overall he had a very good game in the sense of the old Dele we know and love. e definetly put in a shift off the ball again and imposing his strength and clever/nastier side if that makes sense. Again like winks i think it helped it was the type of game and opponents where we had the majority share of the ball however great to see more than just a few glimpses of the player we all know he is and can be again.

Tanganga was very assured, it was a nice game for him to comeback into dip his toes and get some minutes. He was quick to press and intercept , our Def wasnt really put under pressure but what he did when needed to was assuring and im glad to see him back, i think he can become a top player for us.

My Cousin Vinny

Good to see Dele a lot more involved although not too much for him to do off the ball as the opposition really were crapolla

Also liked Whitte and Scarlet, you can tell they have played a lot together, so happy for them

Game in second gear.
Gave MOM to Winjs for the goal of the game(he definitely meant it- looked at Bale twice then the goalie just before he hit it) and he deserves it after all the undeserved shit he gets from folks on here far too often.

That's not what he said. He said it was a fluke.

I expect Kane was ambivalent about this game . He's dead set on beating goal scoring records . There was easy another brace for him last night . For worldbeater record chasing strikers last night was meat and drink .

Great for Vini tho' he looks good . NDombele MoM was superb..amazed to see him tigerishly hunting the ball down too. His talent to do the unexpected constantly wrong foots oppo, what a player we have .

I hope Ndombele is fresh for the weekend. He looked a cut above everyone else on that pitch, including Bale

Pleased for Vini and Tanganga, for different reasons.

Doherty - is still don’t really see it frankly

Scarlett will score goals, once he develops. He’s got the instinct for sure

Hart - as a general comment, seems a good guy to have around. A really positive influence who understands his role in the squad and had presence

On a general point about Kane. There is no coincidence that now he gets proper rest through the season he looks so classy. The management of kane previously was nothing short of incompetent (be it due to the board or manager). Proper squad mamanagemnt now. Makes a huge difference
