GLC is such a fine player. He could end up being our next Modric. Real class and tenacity - a potent mix. Can't wait to see more of him. Love Tanganga's heart. Aurier was really good yet again. Lloris just gives us more confidence.

But my god we were lucky. Let's not forget that - we won, but we weren't the better team. There's a long way to go before we get back to where we were. However, at least there's now some hope. We must battle for 4th. If we get that we've got out of jail.

Aurier was really good... apart from conceding a mindless penalty. Which is about as succinct a summary of him as you could find

Lloris 9 - great penalty save and some excellent pressure killing moments showed his experience we’ve missed him excellent save from aguero too!

aurier 8 - sterling didn’t get nothing from him and I actually don’t think it was a pen aguero was going down looking for it! But apart from that he was excellent

Toby 7 - passing was off but solid!

Sanchez 7 - solid few mistakes with his passes etc but done a good job and showed his aggression also saved our asses twice!

Tankanga 8 - well what is this? Is this Ledley’s son? What a find! So solid and he’s not even playing in his actual position

winks 9 - actually played like he’s meant too! Controlled things and worked his ass off tracking runners!

Lo Celso 8 - another one showed everything you want from a centre midfielder and love his little argie temper! He’s also so so so clever when sterling went down for the dive he ran over to wind him knowing he was on a yellow to try and get a reaction I like that kind of intelligencerat

Bergijwn 7 - didn’t do much but few flashes but what a goal!

Son 7 - so frustrating at times but worked hard and got back so many times to tackle etc

Lucas 6 - worked hard but didn’t really do anything
and was Dele so bad that he didnt rate a mention?

Lo Celso was really good. Tanganga looks a great prospect. We really need to keep the ball better though, we just can’t control games anymore like we used to

Lloris - 8 - Very good just the one moment he ran in nowheres land
Toby - 8
Sanchez - 8 - Just that one pass in the feet of the City attacker
Tanganga - 8 - immense for his age
Aurier - 7 - Solid, but that pen was so unnecessary. Lucky.
Winks - 7 - decent effort, was a hard job to do but earning his place next to GLC
Lo Celso - 7,5 - fight, technique, flair, he has it all. And this is exactly the position he should play in. Maybe next to Tanguy.
Dele - 5 - It seems he is just not good enough when the system is not perfectly adjusted for him
Bergwijn - 7 - gets an extra point for having his first PL match which obv isnt easy. Great shot, otherwise tough match for him. Will be interesting to see what he can do when we have a lot of the ball
Lucas - 6 - Good ball for the 1-0, otherwise again a bit helpless and useless up top. Just imagine having someone in the type of Giroud in his position who could deal with the long balls.
Son - 6 - Annoyed me again. Got the important 2-0 but aside that it was a poor showing

Tanguy - 7,5 - That ball to Sonny was extra class. Hope he stays fit.
Lamela - 6 - Nothing special but okay
Dier - NET

Thought winks was immense today in attitude, positioning and application. I gave him mom but Lo celso, tanganaga, lloris, Toby, sanchez, apart from that mis placed pass-out where excellent. The whole team for me played as a team, which hasn't always been the case. The whole team deserves praise and also mourinho. The players will really trust his methods after this game. Just been watching sour grape sourness souness deny it was a mourinho masterclass, but when did they really cut us open? For the most part they looked like us when watching poch team play against one of the relegation teams. All they did was play in front of us, sideways passing. Mourinho deserves a lot of credit for this win. It was no accident.

Harsh on Winks - if his name was Winkso or Winksi will be applauding a midfield master class

Word. In his post match interview he underlined how Lo Celso and Winks were immense in dealing with De Bruyne and also helping protect the FBs. That’s probably De Bruyne’s quietest game this season. And Mourinho was the architect. I can see light at the end of the tunnel. If Jose can get balance in CM with both Lo Celso and Ndombele in it and find room for Kane and 2 from Son, Moura and Bergwijn, we will have some team. And if Dele finds his form then Jose will have incredible decisions to make in picking a starting XI!!!

Thought bergwijn was better than most are giving him credit for,, at least he didn’t give it away every time he got the ball, I’m sure he would have liked to have seen more of the ball than he did, but overall he was more composed than most
His cross for Alli was also an excellent piece of technique and was about an inch away from setting up a goal. I thought he did well for a game in which he saw very little of the ball and his defensive effort was also solid with a couple of decent interceptions and challenges. His overall contribution was far more than we tend to get from Lucas when he's on the wing.

I've got high hopes for the lad based on today.

If we started Winks, Ndombele and GLC as 3 CM's, we would've seen better ball retention and higher possession numbers.

GLC Looks a better dribbler than Modric but not as good passer but I get your point he does have that potential.

Tanganga is a proper find, you have players in the youth team but you never know if they can step up, most can’t even if they look great at youth level, this guy did. Feels a bit like the Alexander-Arnold situation at Liverpool, early days but boy he has talent.

Winks has to play. Not because he is the best but because we need someone to sit back and allow Ndombele and Lo Celso to play more advanced roles with their beautiful creativity. Having Lo Celso and Ndombele deep for me would be a waste.

Will the real Harry Winks please stand up...it goes to show partnered correctly Winks is a great player imo.

Lo Celso is class in a glass and his partnership with Winks works a treat. Ndombele will be getting worried by this imo and will have to improve his durability.

I felt all the players did well considering we has to defend a lot. Bergwijn scoring on his debut was fairytale stuff it was a great result my only concern was our lack of control. I would eventually like us to be more dominate in games.
