Everyone but Rose can fuck off.

Dier and Fazio were okay.

Chiriches I'd happily never see in a Spurs shirt again.

Mason and Bentaleb midfield combo is beyond woeful.

Eriksen has been M.I.A for months.

Townsend has all the attributes on paper but in reality he is pathetic.

Chadli since his bereavement form wise should be struggling to get onto the bench let alone playing consistently.

Kane has been rubbish since his England debut and I wouldn't be surprised if he only grabs another goal if that in the league for the season.

Poch once again messes up with his team selection, formation and subs. As I said before, based on them factors alone he is failing miserably.

Heh, I was the subject of some righteous anger when I said the same thing a few weeks ago! I know nobody wants to criticise the academy players but I don't think white-washing their limitations is helpful. Now Mason is clearly bloody knackered, his technical limitations are more obvious and he hasn't got the energy or the experience to get himself out of trouble.

Although: that formation is clearly not conducive to any CM's excelling and puts them under huge pressure so...

I never fancied Mason from the start that's why I was disappointed he was picked constantly in favour of obviously more talented footballers who were going through bad patches.

I never fancied Mason from the start that's why I was disappointed he was picked constantly in favour of obviously more talented footballers who were going through bad patches.

It's clear that we're a 433 team and Mason & Bentaleb whilst they aren't fantastic, are being made to look worse by not having a holding midfielder behind them for balance.

Actually think Kane saw a fair amount of the ball today, some stuff he did well, like setting up Eriksen and his shot that just went narrowly over but he also did a lot of stuff wrong... Which seems to be a fairly common theme with him of recent.

Way too many times did he look to go it alone or take a shot when it wasn't on.

Try tell Poch that, we will lose 5-6 games a season before we even kick off just through the mismatch of formations, namely when we have 3 midfielders up against our 2.

Bewilders me how reluctant he is to change from a system that has seen our attacking prowess disappear and our defensively frailties increase.

Rose has been very impressive but Mason and Townsend are just average players!
I really don't know how Kane has become our new captain either! Lately he has also become selfish! I guess he's still young and learning but really need some better players with him! He's a good young player that is having a great season but as usual all the English press and people think he's the best and some even stating that he should replace Rooney!
These young players are our future but we need some experience head to groom then and we need to use them wisely! IMO they have been overused! Same players week in week out with the same tactic and game plan!

When we play with a back four that consists of two attacking wingbacks, we need a holding midfielder. If not, the two centre backs have to cover way too much space. A holding midfielder should almost come down between the two CB's when we go forward with our backs, to allow the CB's to cover the wider areas, and to allow the other midfielders to attack more freely. That way we won't have the massive gaps in our defense that our opponents always seems to find on the counter.

Kane started to take too much on himself when he lost all faith in the system and his team-mates (see also Andros under AVB).

It was obvious to a lot of us. But a few on here will never admit he is a limited player coz he loves the club and he's from round the corner oh and he can run around. No thanks, not for me. Swindon town was his level.

I've said it for months and I've been proven right. Bentaleb and Mason are nowhere near the standard we should be aspiring to. They get leniency from us lot because they're from the youth team, but ultimately neither are anywhere near top 4 standard at present.

Amazing how Rose has gone from pariah to only decent player in such a short time. Writing off youngsters is always a dangerous policy. They are going to be inconsistent; live with it. Some of them are going to make the grade.

Senior players however rarely change their spots and aren't worth hanging on to if they aren't performing.
