I thought Parker was much improved - bar the penalty. He looked sharper and dawdled far less. Dawson and Lloris gallant in defence. Bale was all right as well, I suppose.

He was one of the few players (also Walker) to pick up the ball and drive at them. Really upped his performance after a poor start.

Bale was great, Adebayor was terrible and Sig looked pretty decent when he came on. But what's happened to Verts? He looked short of both confidence and pace tonight.

Lloris - 8 - Did well

Walker - 7 - slowly improving tbh but did going missing positionally at times

Dawson - 7 - Did well tbh

Caulker - 7 - Should of scored one but did well with the others

Vertonghen - 5 - poor game did ok going forward was a threat tbh but at fault for goal

Lennon - 5 - Was missing but did well when he did have the ball but where was he?

Dembele - 5 - 10 out of 10 for defensive work, 0 out of 10 going forward he is clearly injured imo and reluctant going forward as a result imo

Parker - 5 - Same as dembele but better going forward worse defensively
Bale - 9- do I need say anything

Holtby - 5.5 - we cant the ball to him and ade but is quality when on the ball

Adebayor - 4 - same as holtby but should of scored, Im more worried about the fact next season we will have a new striker and fear we wont be able to get ball to him and he will play like ade is atm. Anyone who has played the game properly knows how you feel and play when you got no confidence

Subs:

Sigurdsson - 8 - until he came on, no one could keep the ball, he did

Carroll - 8 - got an assist tbh

Livermore - 10 - When he comes on we win, nothing to do with Bale its all about Livermore

I didn't think Adebayor was as bad as people are saying

Couple of different angles and he could have had a couple.

And when we actually had a little control of the ball in the first 20 minutes he looked a good option up front. The rest of the match we generally had no decent control of the ball with which to give him anything other than odds and sods for possession.

Bale though. WHAT????!!!!

Lloris saved us and Bale made the difference. Thats 4 match winners in a row (or is it 5?), single-handely pulling us to CL.
Lennon was ok too but not enough to make the difference. Ade was wasteful but aside from that did what he was supposed to do. Midfield all did what they were meant to do (keep the ball); we had 69% possession at one point; but without Bale we have no edge. On a completely different note Carroll dominated our CBs and we were lucky that the only thing he could do is head the ball.

Lloris - 8, Superb Keeper
Walker - 7 Started off a bit shaky but grew into the game.
Dawson - 8 Very impressive
Caulker - 6 bit shaky but wasn't too bad
Vertonghen - 5 he isn't a left back but did ok in parts.
Lennon - 6 worked hard off the ball and did some decent things
Dembele - 5 His form has dipped and he is shying away from the ball.
Parker - 7 He worked hard and his distribution was good. Showed some bottle and showed for the ball.
Bale - 9 What can you say, He is on fire at the moment
Holtby - 7 looked good in flashes and worked hard. I love his aggression and bottle.
Adebayor - 5 he worked but he is looking really poor at the moment.

Siggurdsson - 8 Looked impressive and scored. Can't ask more from a sub really
Carroll - 6 He did ok, his passing looks laboured though
Livermore - NET

So my Arsenal and Chelsea frens (yea i have those; for entertainment purposes.) who were watching the match with me just started laughing that Spurs is a man one team. I had to remind them that if that is the case then one man has more points than their teams.
