Why all the Liverpool hate? Don't get it. They are a massive club always have been always will be. Yes they have had problems in recent years but they will be back at some point.
Anfield is still the best and most special ground in the country IMO give me an Anfield over Eastlands, Emirates, Stamford bridge etc every single time.
Yes we have had the better of it over the last 3/4 seasons but guys show some class. You have to respect LFC as a club. Always enjoyed a beer and a chat with Liverpool fans before and after the game at WHL never seen much animosity, so really don't get all the hate on here??!
Would much prefer LFC to be in the top4 than any of the other clubs up there with us. Especially the club that is everything I hate.... Chelsea! Now the hate I have for them is something else!
The funny thing is, he's been absolutely ripped for this on RAWK.just trawled thro' 7 pages on Holtby, some real crackers in there - but it seems there are a couple of sensible ones after all. I submit this post to prove my point:
Come on, get real.
Never mind if Rodgers 'wanted' him or her or whatever. We signed the England U21 captain for 16m. They signed the German U21 captain for free.
They are clearly much better managed than we are, and it shows in multiple ways.
They are way ahead of us in the league table, even though their overall wage bill is far lower than ours.
Our club has been managed by two opportunistic American clowns who almost ruined us. Then we got more responsible but utterly inexperienced owners, who gave Kenny more than enough rope to hang himself (and he certainly did). And now we have an inexperienced rookie manager who is way ... way out of his league. Our transfers keep being lousy... mostly over-hyped and over-priced English mediocrity. Spurs are miles ahead of us at the moment, a blind man could see that.

This poster must be about 7 yrs old
I'm not even trying to defend RAWK here on any other site if its kind but its clear to see that there are an element of these morons at ALL clubs not just Liverpool, I mean you ever read SC on a match day for example?
Agree with most of this, with the old 'top 4' now well and truly buried over time I still feel they'll be one of the top 6 clubs in the countryI REALLY don't like Liverpool but I do feel that they are being massively underrated on here at the moment. They've had their rickets for sure but, from what I have seen of them, they are slowly getting there and, in time, will really be a force to be reckoned with.
Their last few games they have really put teams to the sword and have looked extremely comfortable doing it, and this with some decidedly average players on their books. It really wouldn't surprise me if they have a very strong 2nd half of the season and are there or thereabouts.
This is a concern because they still have drawing power with their name. I also feel that Sturridge will do well for them with the quantity of chances they create. If him and Suarez click then that really could be a wake up call for the EPL.
I'm hoping that I am being overly cautious here, but I can't shake the feeling that they are heading towards being a force once again.
To some extent, but I don't think that's universal. This should be a reminder about the cyclical nature of football. When they were a top 4 team they could attract big names and we couldn't. Even if we were willing to match the wage demands, Liverpool would be a more enticing destination than Spurs 10 years ago. It wasn't a refection on either club or their fans, just logic. Now the tables have turned, it's still no reflection on the clubs but most players would rather join the team who are third in the premiership than the one who are in tenth. In a few years the tables might have turned again or maybe we'll all be wondering why the next big thing is joining West Ham
Clear symptoms of a man in his 20s with no perspective on the history of English football. He probably thinks City hold some sort of legend status rather than historically being mid-table mediocrity as well."Forget Rodgers and what he says. Liverpool are by FAR a bigger club than Spurs, how on earth are you going to tell me he'd rather join Spurs than Liverpool ******* FC.
Y'mum's an oxymoron.I think the title of this thread is an oxymoron.

If any two teams are on a par in terms of glamour and history, it's Liverpool & us. Many similarities in terms of achievements and style. But they're shit now, and we're not.
This is a great post
