Fighting for his life after a suspected heart attack, in an induced coma. Hope he pulls through really like him as a pundit and presenter on talksport, think he comes across very well. My nickname for him is nice guy Ray as he always calls players by their first name lol bit of a legend, pulling for him, stay strong Raymond.

Met him in the lift after the England-Uruguay game a few years ago. Very friendly guy. He was saying how we should have had somebody put a reducer on Suarez.  I suggested that he would have volunteered himself. He had just had a hip replacement then and was on crutches but was very chipper

I think he's an awful pundit personally, but having met him a couple of times I agree with your assessment that he is a really nice guy.
