Passing defensive midfielder/full back so out with the lightweight paper thin mercurials etc.

I'm currently looking at powercat 1.10's(not a fan of the 1.12) or ctr360s. Anybody used either of them, would you recommend them? any other ideas?

thanks

Provided you don't have really fat feet, you'd struggle to go wrong with either Puma Kings or Nike Tiempo Legends (I wear both and can vouch for their loveliness). I'm also led to believe that the new Predators are good but have never worn them myself.

Adidas Preds. Anything colourful and you're getting a kicking. That's from experience as a lightweight winger that used to rock a pair of these badboys (me in the green/purple kit):

I think about two seconds after this photo was taken, I'd been kicked over the cameraman's head.

My fav mould, Copa Mundial.

Best boot ever made.

I currently wear predator studded boots.

I'm a keeper by the way.

puma king or adidas world/copa mundials win everytime for me.

I'd second this.

Only very recently changed my moulded option from Copa Mundials to the Puma King versions as i fancied a change.

My soft ground are puma kings and are very comfortable, solid boots.

Adidas Copa Mundial/World Cup or Puma King

Solid quality leather and they will mold to your foot. Always try and get a half size smaller because these will stretch and fit your foot like a slipper, trust me

THIS

I got Tiempo Legend Zoom Air mouldies for astro/FG, Puma King XL's for SG, and can more than vouch for their superb comfort.

I picked up some Puma King Finale mouldies in white off eBay brand new for £20...couldn't turn that price down, but doubt they'll ever get worn as I really ain't good enough to pull off coloured boots!!!

You are all quite loyal to your heritage boots, i have a strange technique(not in a crouch way though) so i prefer having the clean striking area instead of the laces being there.

cut between these atm, not sure i fancy red boots though

If it was possible to get them anywhere in my size i'd get these though but don't really fancy any of the other colours from the range

Nike tempo, so comfortable and soft on the toe as well you can really feel the ball. Had them past two seasons now.

I actually did my final year dissertation on Football boots and technology behind it and making it so it is light enough but offers enough protection to prevent injury and breaking your foot, How much are you looking to spend on your new boots
