I have to admit, I've never really given credence to red tops, but for some weird reason (i can't pin it down) I am scared to believe the Keane to pool rumour :( please stay wee man!

I stopped buying papers years ago, of all types.

There's not one major paper out there that hasn't run at least one inexcusable (in my eyes) anti-spurs article over the years

Yes, I'll read the internet versions- but actually paying for them to put the knife in us - won't do it

(Disclaimer - about once every two months or so if i'm taking a trip to the seaside by train or some other long journey, I just might buy a paper - but on any kind of regular basis - no way)

I am exactly the same.

It's hard to know what to do in face of the way Spurs get treated so poorly, too often. Anyway, the club survives and indeed prospers, despite the best/worst efforts of some of the journos, who often with Spammers, CFC AFC agendas are so biased it's laughable at times

I was going to ask whats a good paper to read. So independant and what is FT?
Any others?

FT??.......Financial Times! my good man.:)

Stay away from the tabloids and stick to the broadsheets. The independant or Guardian depending on what your political leanings are. The Mail is an adequate transition between broadsheet and tabloid....at least it runs with real news items and no tabloid entertainment trash.

I'd love for these papers to be forced to apologize when they get a story wrong or to be made to explain themselves.

I think we should ram raid the house of Shaun Custis...pin him down, shit all over him. The splashy kind. That would be a fine way of letting him have egg all over his face.

I'd say the Mail is one of the worst papers as it tries to portray itself as intelligent when it's far from it. It isn't fit for human consumption due to it spreading fear, ignorance and non-thinking. On a Spurs level it's also been one of the biggest purveyors of inaccurate and misleading shit.
