I've been quite impressed with Trippier. If Poch doesn't rate Walker and wants rid, Trippier would be my choice replacement.

Not really much from QPR or Burnley. Been quite impressed with Michael Keane at the back for Burnley though.

It seems a lot of people don't think any of the players from the relegated teams are good enough for us. They may be right. Apparently we are going to have a massive clear out this summer. Obviously Levy will be shelling out whatever it takes for the world class stars we all want to replace them . Then again ...

Personally I think that maybe we'd achieve more if we had a couple of 'not good enough for Spurs' players like Vardy or Boyd who run themselves into the ground every bloody match, instead of some of the 'don't give a toss so long as i'm getting paid' prima donnas we currently have on our payroll.

Trippier, Cisse, Morgan, Schlupp, Tiote and if he is not guilty of rape possibly Adam Johnson, oh an a randomer but I would take Wes Brown for a season. Ings as well.

How as Cambiasso done this season as well, is he worth a punt?

So much mediocrity
Could see Cambiasso teach our young midfielders a thing or two.
Rest of the guys play for those clubs for a reason.

Any of the player of these teams would fit with MoPo Spurs Philosophy? Need to understand that Spurs already have many good players that do not fit into how Spurs want to play at the moment. It is not they are poor players, it's just that they are a poor fit. So any players from these teams that would be suitable with how Spurs want to play? (Also of coz with a decent Footballing IQ).....So with that? Will any players fit into how Spurs want to play? If not, we will just be stockpiling players (and waste funds on wages), even if they are decent footballers.

Dawson, Caulker and Sandro would all improve our squad (more specifically the players we replaced them with)

Fantastic crosser of a ball.. not sure about him defensively though, if Walker left I agree he wouldn't be a bad addition considering the lack of quality right backs around & the ones that are pretty decent you have to pay through the nose for.

A fully fit Sandro might do, but he has been injured most of the season and there were doubts he would ever get back to his top level.

Caulker has been reaaly poor and is nowhere near the ability people thought he couldget to when he was playing youth football.

We all either loved or at least appreciated Dawson, but it was right that he moved on- our defence would not have been stronger with him here this year.

I will agree if a couple of our more talented players could adopt some of Dawson/Sandros fighting mentality then that would be an improvement.

Sissoko maybe? Papis Cisse? Ings? Charlie Austin? None of them would start for us though and we have enough mediocre players as is.

We want players with PL experience, but we don't want players from the relegated teams, we don't want to over pay, and several clubs would enjoy not dealings with us. Great.

Ayoze Perez, Moussa Sissoko and Remy Cabella are players I like at Newcastle.

I agree about Cabella, hasn't quite worked for him this year- but there is certainly potential to be a good player. Although judging how people rate Lamela on this board, they would be booing Cabella by September...
