Was also really impressed with Adam Armstrong when he came on against us late in the League Cup. Wouldn't mind bringing him in as a young striker option, might even actually get more playing time with us should Newcastle survive the drop.

Cabella is useless.

I like Schlupp, Ayoze Perez, Ings. But looking to pick up the scraps of the relegated teams would generally not be the way to go IMO

Ah it's you, the person who hilariously disagreed with my post.

Have one back, because I actually do disagree with this as Cabella is far from useless and that's a ridiculous thing to say.

the lad who played down the right wing at QPR looked useful

Vargas? Yeah he's a good player. He's Napoli on loan though, so wouldn't necessarily be looking for a new club. Have always liked him though, is a busy player who knows how to make a good run in behind the back line. He is also familiar with Bielsa due to playing for Chile while Bielsa was in charge for them, which would help with familiarity with Poch's system.

One of the players Jenas, Hill & Ramsey were alluding to when they said they don't care if they go down.. we need to stay well clear of players with that attitude.. QPR sent him back to West Ham already

His stats might be better side by side but he has been playing with a bunch of pony at Leicester. Also you forgot to put the transfer fees for each player. Also where is the goals column? Oh yeah, they don't matter do they, as long as you all keep thinking he is gonna turn into Ronaldo next season, deluded!

Well, tbf, loaned players have a track record of distancing themselves from relegation stresses, but I agree it's not acceptable.

West Ham though? You thinking of the right player? If it is indeed Vargas, they sent him back to Napoli after he had received an injury in April, prior to which he had scored in two games in a row.

Has a £3.5m release clause apparently
Release clauses work differently than a buy-out clause.. in England if a bid meets the release clause it just means the player can talk to the club that made the offer.. the club don't have to accept that offer though
