Agree that there is little prestige for us, but the games have been competitive. Often more than we can handle.
No team has frozen and looked hopeless - some of the europa teams we've played were far far worse.
The grounds have been decent and the support reasonable. A few years ago it seemed half the europa grounds didn't have 4 stands. And the pitches were rutted too. Not now.
And they've been fairly reasonable journeys - and not within the arctic circle or within disputed lands.
I'm more than happy to watch midweek euro games as long as they dont impact on us getting back in the top 4.
I want to see which players are coming through the academy, and the new signings yet to make a mark on the prem. And assess which players need to move on.
For me it's this B team that has been the disappointment rather than the competition itself.
