You guys need to chill for the sakes of your sanity. This is gonna happen pretty much every week until we appoint someone. We will probably have been linked with about 10 coaches by the time we appoint one

Exactly....doesn't mean i won't have a panic attack when we are linked to Steve Kean....but we are going to run into this a great deal.

Keep in mind that with our club seemingly having made the decision to replace our manager we will end up being linked to any number of managers who are trying to catch the attention of other teams in much the same way that every transfer window we get linked to dozens of players that we have no interest or chance of signing.

Exactly...the world and his wife know that we are going to be looking for a coach and we are one of not many bigish teams in that position this summer

I wouldn't be surprised if Allegri was lined up to take Tim's old job as head of academy coaching, would make more sense than him been manager

I would think that we would just promote McDermott into the Technical Director role and backfill his position. Seems like he has done a pretty god job with the academy.

Tottenham have NOT agreed to make ex-Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri their next coach, according to sources at Spurs

Maybe Levy will decide to take the plunge and coach the team instead.

He'll be running around the touchline like Ben Kingsley in Sexy Beast. You know, calling the ref a stinking jam rag spunk bubble and the like.

'You will give us a penalty. You will. You will. Penalty, like Scousers, like Suarez.'

Almost as unlikely as getting Klopp, he's a superb manager. But there does seem to be a level of uncertainty around his future at Juve...

Juventus ‘ultimatum’ for coach

Juventus wait an answer from coach Antonio Conte on a new contract within 20 days, according to reports.

Bianconeri director general Giuseppe Marotta admitted that they hope to discuss a new contract with the 44-year-old at the end of the season, but his comments also suggest this is dependent upon results.

“Conte has already said that a renewal will be discussed at the end of the current season,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.

“We, as a club, are fully satisfied with the work of our coach. He has a contract with us, and is our leader.

“We are really proud to have Antonio with us.

“We have already spoken, and by mutual agreement we have agreed to meet after winning something special – whether that’s the Scudetto or the Europa League…or both!”

The former Siena coach’s contract is set to expire in June 2015 and it is believed the club is keen to avoid the saga of last year when Conte held them to ransom over a possible move to Monaco.

Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that Marotta’s comments suggest that the club wish to agree on a new contract with the coach within 20 days, and is a sign that the Old Lady are attempting to take control of the situation to avoid a repeat of last summer.

Juventus are currently on the verge of their third straight Serie A title and are favourites to win the Europa League, meaning that expectations have been raised at the Juventus Stadium.

This perhaps makes a move to Monaco a less attractive proposition for Conte as representing a step backwards, and the impression outside of Italy is that he has yet to find a suitable suitor for his services.

It is believed that the coach would prefer to agree a new deal in Turin, but Gazzetta suggests that “this film has only just begun.”
