Facts are correct. Didn't mean it was the money. While Levy was haggling the fee, Athletico came in, offered the full fee and signed the player. Haggling slows the process down and lets other clubs swoop in.

Agreed and why I think we have fucked this deal already.

We should pay the 25 million euros for Bernard and Just pay the release clause on Soldado. Money is not an issue IMO as one of two things are going to happen at the end of this season.

1) We qualify for the CL and we get an extra revenue in the CL which covers the cost, by this time, we wont have to spend much on the team as we will have few shit hot players and the squad will require little tinkering. Thus the the extra few million spent will be dwarfed by the revenue made in CL and we have a greater chance of keeping Bale.

2) We fail to get CL and sell Bale for 80-100 Million.

We can't lose, it is utterly stupid that we are fucking around over a few million (Yes even a few million is a lot of money) when we have nothing to lose, and if we sell Bale, we still have Sandro, Paulinho, Bernard, Soldado, Verts, Lloris, Dembele, Chadli...

Seriously, what is the fucking problem? Just pay the money as it is almost impossible for us to fuck our finances and get in the crapper like Leeds, Rangers or even Valencia.

I'm gonna make a request of AJW to stop just posting links to random spanish tweets and articles. I don't care whether you're on your phone or not, translate it and then post it.

:wtf:

This isn't the place for Villa chat, and you're wrong.

But thanks though.

Well officially he still had paper work to complete which kept him out against Sunderland. Maybe now he might play against South China tomorrow?

Doesn't sound like it...

The Belgium international is expected to be available for the first time when we travel to Monaco for our pre-season fixture on Saturday, August 3.

Sorry if I'm a bit late here but is Soldado on holiday or does he have extended leave after confed cup? Just noticed training pics from the mestalla without him in any photo coupled with banega, guardado and Romeu holding up a ac Milan shirt as a promo in another.

Okay. I thought it was useful as noone else seemed to be finding them. Don't worry I won't post any more - we can stick to the daily mirror articles instead :)

It's just the name 'Football Planet' that makes me hard to believe any news from them will be viable.
