What if we don't make Champions League and Bale has an injury that means he is out for most of this season and the beginning of next so Madrid don't bid for him?

It's originally via a Spurs fan who has a friend of a friend doing a placement at Valencia who claism to have heard it. So...salt mountain needed.

Would be best ever ITK if true though...

It's looking like it may have come from Sam Rhodes. The same Sam Rhodes who said we were signing Tom Ince.

Unless that injury is career threatening, then not a problem.

But the chance of that happening is very very small. Would you want to throw an opportunity like this away, that not only has very little chance of happening and something beyond our control?

Not too mention, stadium name rights on top, new TV money etc etc.

I do agree wit this in the most. I am not, as you are not either, condoning going crazy with the cheque book, but we need to go out on a limb a little.

These players are available NOW!!! and it is IMHO that with these signng we will make top 4 and could challenge top 2!

It will also mean that we will not have to bargain as hard to get players next season, because players would love to play in a team that includes Lloris, Sandro, Paulinho, Chadri, Bale, Bernard & Soldado, so the knock on savings would be massive too.

...and yes, I hate to think about it but worst case, we have still got Bale in the Bank, and these players will noy lose there value overnight.

I remember reading that this morning. Can't remember where. Someone claimed their friend working for Valencia. Didn't seem convincing to me
