you know something i can actually live with a boring August transfer window if it means we have our main targets in early :)
Theoretically yes, but we are all glutton's for punishment round here - nothing beats a deadline day transfer special!

I know it's his twitter account and it's up to him what he posts, but I think there's a fine line between providing fans with info, and just stringing them along.

I was never sure about Gards due to him being part of that little circle of Eatson and Eatson's little lapdog, but JJ vouched for him.

It's funny how ITK seems to increase late on weekend evenings. What on earth could the connection possibly be???

I completely agree, and that is why I still sort of think he may know things, because of JJ vouching for him, but there is no need for this bollocks!

Our other two signings were announced at the weekend, hat-trick anyone? (I hope so but not holding my breath)

Yeah I've seen a few things from him that have ended up being pretty accurate, but I'm going to put his last few tweets down to optimism and the heat.

Personally I'm expecting the worst now, and can see him joining Liverpool.

You can say what you like about Gards, and indeed many have tonight, but to my mind he has never indicated that he has wanted to be known as an ITK.

That he is ITK, to whatever degree, is what has brought thousands of lunatic, bug-eyed, drooling ITK whores, myself and probably yourself included, to pore over his exclamation heavy twitter account!!!

He was persuaded to join up here some while back despite not seeming to really want to, then shared a couple of things, outed himself inadvertantly due to exclamation mark usage and then went back to his twitter.

As a result, criticism; whilst potentially valid form the perspective of the consumer (ie. us) is actually completely non-valid as he has a role that he never actually sought out or desired.

He is free to tweet as much truth (or bollocks, should he desire) as he likes and has no obligation to anyone but himself.

A lot different from signing up with one of the forums and trying to pass yourself off as connected because you're mum goes to the WI with the tea lady from WHL.

Would they want him? Sturridge does the same role and was good last season. I think they might go after a different type of player, young with potential.

Even if they do firm up their interest, I'm not worried. We'll get him, I'm sure of it. As soon as AVB started talking about it I was confident. If it wasn't likely AVB wouldn't of talked about it simple as that. Probably why we never commented on Benteke. Soldado is obviously a lot closer to happening.
