WHO FUCKING CARES ABOUT RATINGS!

After seeing Lukaka at the world cup I am now really in two minds as to whether he would suit us. Not sure he will be able to bring Eriksen/Lamela etc into the play enough, as his touch isn't good
Judging players on World Cup performances is pretty silly though. Belgium were playing far too slowly for any striker to really prosper - a bit like us last season. Poch wants to get the ball forward quicker, Lukaku's pace and physicality could really help that. He's not my ideal choice for a lone forward, but with the wages we pay, we've got to cut our cloth accordingly.

Seem that Wolfsburg is in for him.... I am sure Jose will jump at the chance to send him off to a different country....

Oh well....

Seems like the kind of player that will tell them to walk away no matter the wage. Wolfsburg would be close to his level, but I doubt they will pay £25m and silly wages.

I have to disagree with this. He wasn't great in the World cup, but Hazard hardly set the world alight either and Ronaldo? Meh

I'd prefer to go on his two full seasons at West Brom and Everton, 17 goals, 4 assists and 15 goals, 6 assists respectively in the Prem.

True, but its been said for the last 12 months or more that he has a bad first touch, watching him in the WC reinforced this fact more so for me (I wasn't convinced before).

He's a big body trying to move at pretty break neck speeds. Wouldn't surprise me if it took him a little while to develop his ability to prop and get a good touch after moving at pace.

Heavy feet until he's stronger through the legs and core. More miles on the track and more match fitness will help with the repeat efforts involved as well. It's a process of refinement, and if the coaches and he make it a focus it'll develop.

Why in the fucking world will Chelsea sell to a direct opponent? They did with Mata as well. Are they just hating us?

£. If they have indeed sold to liverpoo it's because they've paid the £30m or whatever the chavs ridiculous buyout clause was. They do love an overpay.

since when they care about money... They have it...they sold Luiz for 50m pounds. Will make me chuckle when Lukaku and mata scores against them....idiots.

Maybe this will drag until our game against Pool.
