There are two issues with Barkley:
#1: His work off the ball is not good. He is nowhere near as tenacious as our other attacking midfielders in pressing and looking to win the ball back after losing it. Koeman is a very good manager, who likes his teams to press when they can and gets a lot out of his players. Barkley will have to up his workrate substantially if he wants to be in Pochettino's good graces.
I'm sure Poch and his coaches are well aware of his work rate. We wouldn't be interested in players that won't pull their weight.
