I've only seen him play once (as a sub last year in Europe, I think) and the thing that stuck with me was his pace, he was really quick both with and without the ball, so hopefully as you mention he'll get a run on the wing. Keep us postedI live on Teesside and regularly go to see Middlesbrough play (the Wife is a season ticket holder)
I was at the Riverside at the weekend to see them torn to pieces by Sheff Wed.
I have to be honest, I think this is a terrible move for all concerned. He is no better than they already have.
I can only assume he will be used out wide as opposed to just right full back, as they are light on the wings.
It is a great club and opportunity to showcase his ability however, let's hope he does well.
i'm too lazy to c+p but had a look on the boro forum and they were all really impressed with him today(it was his debut).
That is great to hear.^ Been outstanding, Sterling can't get past him.
That is great to hear.
You already lost the bet (if you can call it that) didn't you?
Typical spurs really. lolYou already lost the bet (if you can call it that) didn't you?
It's going to be difficult for him with Yedlin coming in and Dier being able to fill in there.
Strange thing is, it looks like we have 3 players at RB (plus another one that can fit in) that fit the system, yet at LB, we only have 1 IMO (I still don't think Davies suits us).
