I know what the definition is but a first team regular at the club where one came through the academy cannot then become club trained for another club. That's an absurd stretch of the rule

What your opinion is and what the actual rules are, are two different things though (y)

I think bale was more of a physical specimen but then he was a freak .his lung busting runs were insane and something I've never seen another player replicate .But I think sessegnon is technically better and he's all round game .

The ironic thing is that if Sessegnon does sign for us this summer at age 17 then he might not even qualify as a club-trained player for Fulham should he ever go back there in the future since the 36-month period of qualification only starts at 15 years old. Same situation with Danny Rose and Leeds. It's a weird old rule, to be sure.

What are the chances of him going back to Fulham though???

I was referring more to strength, he was bullying a few players when I watched him which surprised me for a 16 year old, obviously don't think we will ever quite see someone as athletic as Bale again.

  • <------ the point (which was about the irony of the Club Trained rule where we could be given more credit for player development than a Fulham/Leeds who have brought the players through their system since they were kids)

:watching: <------ you

How do you know what fans are basing their judgement on?
Fulham have barley been on tv so either they go to Fulham games or YouTube. I'd be interested to hear people views of him who have seen him 5-6 times live

Same goes for you though, right? Basically you're dismissing him and whining (as usual, I might add) without having seen any more of him than anyone else, probably less even.

The fact that a 16 year old left back has played 25 games and scored 5 goals for one of the best sides in the Championship kind of speaks for itself doesn't it? Most people on here haven't seen that much of him, but all the biggest clubs in England are interested, and I'm sure their scouts have seen plenty.

Don't fight it with logic, it's impervious.

Would love to see this one get over the line. I think he's got everything in his locker to succeed but if it happens we as fans need to be patient with the guy as he developes

Fulham have been on Sky's Championship coverage plenty of times. I have to watch some it for work, but there's been plenty of opportunities to watch him.

I imagine he would play further forward if we signed him, you don't many teen full backs in the prem.
when we were I talks with bale did jol promise his family he would play LW while he got more experience. full back isn't the easiest position for a kid, if you get skinned a few times it wont do the confidence much good..

So we've bought our 3rd choice left back. Let's go buy some first teamers now
He's one of the most highly rated youngsters in Europe. Our success at the moment is in large part due to buying players like him. He has huge potential and could easily turn into the next Rose.

The problem is, rose gets injury easily. Davies has no real left back cover these few months. And that's why son played left wing back once. Ryan is a pacey wing back, that can allow poch to change his left back bewteen him and davies (given that rose was out)
