Ok just curious here, but how much of today's defeat is actually Harry's fault?

What are people's main gripe with what happened today? I know we lost 5-1 but the players had given up more or less after the 3rd goal. It knocked the stuffing out of them. The 4th goal is a free-kick out of nothing which frankly the keeper should have saved if he stayed to his side. The 5th goal was irrelevant in my eyes.

Defoe for Van De Vaar reverting to 442 he doesnt learn does he it just further opened the front door wider and with an ageing cb pairing it was poor tactics a very poor decision no thought process at all.

Anytime we play top teams it is no coincedence we concede tons of goals and end up losing. BC was right Modric in a two man midfield doesnt work especially against teams that are playing three in the middle. if we can sell modric for a goal scoring midfield player id be happy with that.

What exactly did Harold do wrong today? 1st go out of the blue. 2nd goal a travesty. Some of you need to get a grip.

I would love it if I knew what was going through Mr Levy's mind right now. Love it.

Jonathonhotspur ,

Whatever you may feel about Redknapp being responsible for our loss of form may be true but we played well today and our guys were really up for it . They were pressing really well in the second half .

I have doubts myself over the quality of training but the difference today was about the quality of exceptional players : we have no answer to Drogba and Lampard .

For that Levy must take some responsibility .

Even if we had a big stadium that would not make sufficient difference to revenues . We need to ramp up our overseas merchandising in developing countries where disposable incomes are increasing rather than the UK where they are dropping . The club has not managed to ramp up overseas merchandising .

Chelsea brought Gary Cahill and Fernando Torres off the bench . Hindsight is a wonderful talent but not going for Cahill is looking like a mistake .

I would have had Scottie parker man marking juan mata. Mata was roaming free all game, as he has done for Chelsea in many of their games. We need more charcters like Parker to take this team forward !!

When did they start pressing? When we went 2-0 down?

We've nearly tripled our revenues under ENIC haven't we?

We're only £20m behind the global brand juggernaut that is Liverpool FFS.

And he's done that with having a small stadium compared to others. In fact, without oil criminals and barons owning clubs we'd have been top 4 for the last 7 or 8 yrs. Levy is not to be blamed for this. At all. The last person.

His appointments haven't always been great and the DoF debacle etc but otherwise, dafuq?

Who knows anymore. This is as depressing as I remember it in a long time. Even when we had 2 in 8, there seemed to be some hope tethered somewhere that we had enough to get out of the mess. I don't know. I understand the anger at everybody at the moment. I am personally too sad to be angry. But this sucks......whatever destroyed our season so easily and comprehensively needs to be ferreted out. I imagine that's its more than just the coach....there are more than likely many factors. But we need to figure out the rot and deal with it. This kind of collapse isn't that common at clubs with our resources.

4411 from the off, with Parker on his own in the centre with Modric. We were always going to get over run by their 3 man midfield. It was possession suicide. Especially as the 433 worked so well against them only 3 weeks ago.

I don't think for 1 minute that Harry is doing this intentionally, but I can't work out his motives. 2 months ago everything was set up for him to walk away to the England job, a Spurs Legend and his head held rightfully high. Now? He's losing the backing of the few supporters that he had, and I was one of them.

I just can't get my head around any of this, I really can't.

I agree to a degree we just havent enough big game players and Ive been saying that for a long time now. I thought Modric could be one but have been desperately disappointed by him. Adebayor is a good striker but again havent come up aces when it matter IMO, Bale shows great signs as to does Lennon in spells. Van De Vaart really is the only player that can win us games and Harry has a habbit of taking him off for Defoe who thoughout his career hasnt turned up when our dawn (false) rolls around.

the way we collapse really suggests to me his lost the players. its happen far to many times this season the players prob believe his off anyway at the end of the season.

It's hard to blame Harry when we have been playing with1 fit CB. King was shaky away at City and has been on a rapid decline since. Gallas has been out muscled and out paced nearly all season. The one major blight on Harry's record should be our lack of movement and creativity from the players on attack. It would be interesting to see the passing statistics before and after the Christmas fixture.

Who decided the composition of the squad and who has had 5-6 transfer windows to get it right? Having King, Gallas, Nelsen and not to mention an injury prone Dawson is asking for trouble.

We also conceded 3 more goals when he decided to go back to 442 and we lost the midfield battle

It may be a case of the deal already been done behind the scenes with Harry knowing he is England Manager and his head is now working out his players, staff e.t.c... for that job.
I just hope Daniel levy gets this situation sorted out very quickly because losing that Champions league place will cost us and him millions and will stop us securing world class players that may come to us... i.e Eden Hazard.

I said it at the time (because I'm so super awesome and clever like that), just after the 5-2 in the match thread, that that game terrified me. It showed me that the old Spurs, the lay down and die Spurs were not only not a thing of the past but all too near the surface of this current Spurs squad.

I never in a million yrs thought it would deteriorate this quickly or to such an extent but it has.

And in the context of the old Spurs this really isn't surprising. It's almost like an old friend in fact, which is maybe why we aren't all suicidal. How the opening 6 months of the season went though, it's crushing. Worse than anything else really. We've failed horribly and abysmally before but with some all-time rhubarb teams.

If we can do it with this team, this squad? LMFAO. There are no limits. Scary shit.

Anybody who can't see that Harry has as much tactical nous as a drunk nun has their head up their arse, yet people still make excuses for him.

I actually can't believe the guy gets paid millions of pounds and is that incompetent with a major aspect of the game. His methods have a shelf life - they've well and truly expired.

13 pts ahead of the scum, 15 ahead of chelsea only 2 months ago, its harry that needs to get a grip, hopefully on the door handle on the way out. This week had seen 2 truly awful performances. Yes the 2nd goal was a joke, but we were still in it until the master tactician waved his magic wand. He really has no idea when things go wrong.
