What about Rashford? Everyone was fapping over him little while back and now Ibra is flavour of month again he gets forgotten lol.

They can also move Martial into a centre role as that is probably his main position really (he's just played wide as pacey and they prefer Ibra of Rashford as the central one).

Chelski really should be giving Batman chances when Costa if out but hey ho he should've come to us lol so that's his problem.
Neither of those are like for like Ibra replacements though. Playing either of those is similar to us playing Son up front centrally, Rashford may become that player but ATM he's more about runs through and dribbles, which is why Maureen is playing him LWF most times he comes on.

Rashford is a centre forward though?

You're not really going to get exact identical players for each position lol. Unless you start experimenting with cloning maybe. :playful:

Yeah the argument/discussion was about getting a like for like backup for Kane, saying Janssen, Son and possibly SB are not it, and I was saying no club has that anyway (probably with Janssen we have the most like for like with Kane, although time will tell if he will succeed in the prem)

I think we should take a punt on him. He has shown in the past that he can do it in the premier league. Still very young with lots of potential. From Pulis comments today, I don't think they are playing him because he is not fit, but because he has still not signed a new contract. Apparently they offered him a new one this week. He can't be that much of a cock if they still want him. Fairl play to him, they broke his heart in him not completing his dream move. He clearly can't stand them and is willing to have no club and no contract in 6 months time to get the hell out of the Hawthorns.

They've got that Rooney bloke as well. If you wanted to highlight a club that didn't have striking options, Man Utd wouldn't be it.

A few months ago I was listening to Radio 5 Live and they had this guy called John Smith on as a guest, who apparently had been the first 'Super Agent' in the 90s.

The guy was talking a bit about how transfers were done these days, compared to the 90s, what's changed etc. (he was plugging a book).

Anyway he mentioned this practice of agents getting players to run down their contracts and 'park' them at a new club for 6 months (on a bosman), before selling back to a big league for a massive profit for player and agent, essentially circumventing the initial club getting any money.

He said there was a player he knew currently in the Premier League who is deliberately running down his contract on instruction from his agent so they can both make a wad of cash, with the temporary club already lined up to take the player on a bosman.

He didn't mention any name but my very first thought was Berahino.

Be very surprised if he comes to us.

Rangers are apparently interested for 500k. Is Mark Warburton going to help Spurs with this bit of business?

I think we should go for him now to give us more options. Unfortunately I think we won't and also that he will run his contract down. Would be interesting to see what he'd do if we did bid for him though. Join us now or leave on a free and join a team like stoke or West Ham in the summer!

In some ways I feel guilty about the direction his career has taken.

It's like he was a solid married man, and we were a curvaceous blonde who thought it would be fun to flirt with him for an evening. As a result he got obsessed, left his wife, took up the bottle and is now living out the back of his car.

We, like the blonde can't be held responsible for the actions of others and he should have been grateful when West Brom let him back in the house to sleep on the sofa

True dat, but you can't blame him for looking elsewhere when you've seen Tony Pulis in lingerie...

I wonder if he is even interested in moving now? Looks like he simply wants his contract to run down so he can really cash in personally.

Jez Peace must regret not taking Levy's offer. I know that hindsight is a wonderful thing but it was a mistake.

Peace isn't there anymore, left and probably got a handsome pay off too, but he pretty much ruined Berahino's early career for the sake of his own ego.

Ah but he wasn't a solid married man though, he had already decided to leave and had the agreement of his wife.

Yeah, it really was a case of 'standing up to Levy' wasn't it.

Apart from the cup game can someone please list all of the chances that Janssen has missed that Berahino would score? It's complete Bullshit that he's played badly, is slow, missed lots of chances, out of his depth etc
No, it's not. He's been exactly that. I hope he improves for next season, but right now, he's all that.
I don't know if Berahino is the answer, but we need someone else who can at least do something. I'm not even asking for a goal.
We may see Janssen next season as he adapts, but right now he's a liability. It's like playing with 10 players. And Kane cannot play every single game. We still have the EL and the FA Cup

I think he would love to be at Spurs seeing what's happened to Kane mud be killing him.
