Taken from SSN and their newspaper roundup:

Tottenham are in contact with West Brom a move for Saido Berahino but are worried they won't get a deal done in time. (Evening Standard)

WTF?! If we are indeed in contact and are worried, why the hell wasn't it sewn up earlier than the last day.
If it's true (pinch of salt) and we fail again, then it proves that Levy has a lot to learn in the game of brinkmanship.

Interesting theory from WBA mate - Berahino deal done (with Pritchard part of it) but they want to spend the money before announcing it so prices don't get jacked up on the players they're after atm (Matt Philips for one) so it won't be announced until late.

If that's true people will be as mad as fuck at Levy.

For 25 minutes

Love the theory but just cant see it!! Qphahaha surely know that phillips is a replacement but id love to be wrong because we could do with berahino with a point to prove banging in some goals along with harry. Weve got a lot of games coming and to truly challenge we will need 4/5 players netting reguarly with kane being rested more.

Phillips would be a replacement for Mcmanaman, who they were going to sell anyway but then got injured.

This is a thread for this window. But i doubt we'll go in for him this summer also. Poch's quotes tell you all you need to know
I have been pretty consistent, I think, and agree with you that we won't get him this window, we may not agree on whether we should get him but I think agree on this.
However do you not feel that the Pritchard deal changes the landscape? Earlier I today I thought we, and they, may be ok to do the deal in the summer, Pritchard being the good will.
Now though I am seeing Berahino leaving their training ground early, no one knows where to and Pulis is away somewhere secret on "football matters" and now I am thinking something is afoot, let the dance begin.
To be honest I'll stick with my summer theory for now.

Why haven't West Brom rejected Newcastle's bid from yesterday afternoon? Reports are saying Newcastle haven't had a reply yet.

Peace is merking Levy again

I know that Levy is pragmatic (remember he got £2m out of the Spammers for Bentley loan during the stadium battle) but, given that Pritchard is on low wages and is highly prized with the probable number of takers quite high, SURELY he wouldn't be sending him there if it wasn't linked to Berahino

Pritch was given the choice of where to go of clubs that were interested...

Premiership experience is better then experience he already has in the championship. Why can't people see that?!!

That's on the proviso that;

a) Pulis plays him
b) The team start to actually commit to playing football

It's looking somewhat promising, but we've all been down this optimistic route before on numerous occasions!

Fingers fecking crossed! COYS!
