Let's not kid ourselves. Sandro has basically signed a one year extention whilst trebling or quadrupling his wages. Still is great news for the club. So our first choice 5 man midfield all have minimum 4 year deals - nice

This great news (for us) must have left a lousy feeling for SAF, AVB and his boss, and the fakirs and sheikhs from Man City. After Levy's stand on Modric, they'll have to start searching elsewhere if they want to get a DM for their respective teams in Jan or the summer.

At least, we would not likely be expecting another 'Modric-like' fiasco in the next two TWs.

To be honest that is ke a new signing, he will have a very good season I think this year, excellent work again by levy, very impressed with this lad, looks to have it all and will go on to be a top player and hopefully now looking at what happened with modric we will hold on to our big players on long contracts.
