One of my mates asked me if I knew anything about this, I've not heard a thing but he's heard on the grapevine (random gossip) that if Sandro plays week in week out for the next few years he wont be able to walk by the time he's 30.

Is this rubbish? I hope so.

Anything you hear "from a mate" is usually bullsh*t IMO

I used to be a footballer, then I took an arrow to the knee.

Just checking it wasn't something I missed after he blew it out in the summer. Your accumulated responses coupled with the high kicking vid posted on twitter lead me to conclude this is indeed BS.

An ex spurs reserve player told me about Ledley in 2006. It soon came true.

Someone on here said about Bale have to drive certain cars because of his back and hamstring. I heard that too from a decent source.

Not always rumours.

I just wasted 15 secs of my life googling it only to find that it's a geek-ism

I spoke to my ITK source about this last year, there is an issue there but pretty mild and can be manged comfortably.

I had no idea about that. I'll try and ask him about it next time I speak to him.

with the Ledley King template as a guide, retell story and insert Spurs player for newest version,... degenerative knee mark III

I predict that Walker will be next...

What did he do in the summer? FM reckons "a damaged kneecap". In what sense? A shattered kneecap can be pretty nasty but repairable. A long term/recurring problem could be patellar dislocation (something that runs in my family and I can assure you it is not fun) which is nasty and can happen at any time really. It did for Terry Dixon (promising youth player on our books a few years ago) as every time he came back it just went again. Really hope it's not that if indeed there is anything in these rumours.

I thought summer was a cartilage tear?
