Was reading this article at lunchtime today,

It looks like the site is being quoted on the BBC website, or more so MJBSpur

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympic_games/london_2012/9368767.stm

"Our history doesn't disappear because we move stadium," wrote MJBSpur on spurscommunity.co.uk. "Do your fond memories of childhood no longer exist once you move out? It's called progression and personally I'd take that ahead of sentimentality any day.
"Besides history is all relative. We are creating it every day and if we move stadium it just becomes another chapter in our club's history. It doesn't erase the past or mean that we can no longer be proud of past achievements."

It always surprises me that this great site doesn't get higher recognition eg on official site.

My guess is that they did that, we, the posters, would have many restrictions on what we could or couldn't post.

Why would having more recognition mean we'd have more restrictions.

I remember the quote the BBC used, a good line it was too. I notice that most of the time (if not all the time) they quote stuff from the front page. Part of me thinks a lot of people don't know/think about the forum but also the forums are offlimits, AFAIK, for search engines so people looking for discussions won't find them unless they're on the front page.

I meant if we were officially associated or affiliated with club. Reason being that it could be argued that what was said here could be attributed to the club. I'm not a legal expert, of course, just thinking that people drawing that conclusion seems logical.
