Very strange appointment on paper.

He's been involved with Melbourne Heart (City now) when they were a shit show and the Gold Coast Suns, who are perhaps the most laughable club in the AFL.

I would guess it means Ange Postecoglou moves up our managerial list.
Is Ange a likely contender? I assume that just because Munn hails from Australia, that doesn't mean that makes Ange a sudden shoe in for the role.

Nothing to be with being impatient, we’ve had no football plan or strategy for 3 years since poch left and the football has been god awful dreadful.

Fans want to see something to believe in.
Just an opinion. I think that the emergence of Newcastle, the likelihood of Arsenal clinching the title and the progression of other clubs has (understandably) caused a bit of panic and a clamour for a quick fix in Poch.

Not sure what you’re talking about, sounds like he’s the perfect fit to me. 😑

Ange is always number 4/5 in the bookies lists. He does seem to be a competent manager, doing well with Celtic and I'm only assuming they have a relationship. For all I know they don't know each other from a bar of soap.

Yeah, I have no idea if they have a relationship or if he would believe that Ange has the credentials to take over at the club.

I think you're right that those factors have added to the frustration but the impatience has been building for 3 years to see a competent football plan and to see us play some nice football again.

Wtf is this guys credentials
And how does he land a job this big?
10+ years in top leadership positions across various different professional sports. Mostly football.

He spent many years as the CEO for Melbourne City, which are a part of the City Group, which means he's familiar with the Manchester City processes and how they run.

Reckon he is coming to increase the value of THFC

Scott was installed as Melbourne City FC Chief Executive Officer in the Club’s inaugural year in 2010, and in nine years with the Club he drove substantial growth across the sporting and commercial arms of the organisation

I’m a big advocate of Levy but even to me this seems a very left field appointment. On the face of it, Scott Munn doesn’t have the attributes or experience to lead a club like Spurs’s football destiny. I can only think that Levy is thinking about turning “Hotspur” into a brand which can be setup around the world, similar to how the City Group have operated. In which case I can see how Munn fits into that role. For me, the jury is very much out on this one.
