If he really is a super talent, being back up to Kane isn't really going to help him. Kane is a world class talent, when he's fit he plays. Another out and out striker isn't the answer. We really need someone like Son who can play some different positions. For me, I think Son as back up striker is just fine.

Id be amazed if we buy anyone in January, apart from Barkley if he comes back from injury before then. The January window just seems to be a damp squib for everyone nowadays.

I'm not really sure that we will get him in January, I expect there to be more interest than just Chelsea. If we do get him I don't expect him to make a significant impact straight away.

we are still creating chances v the bus parkers, but the difference this season compared to last is they are not going in. if we grabbed an early goal like we did last season, the game becomes open and hopefully like last season we score 3 or 4 goals per game.

this time last year we scored 19 goals in 14 and had 2 penalties, 7 of those goals were in the 1st half with a 4-0, 2-1, 2-0, 1-1 and unfortunately 1-2 v Chelsea, and most of the teams still parked the bus. this season we have scored 22 in 14, 9 have been in the 1st half in games we have won 3-0, 3-2, 4-0, and 4-1. the difference in scoring 1st and early, but had no penalties given yet, unfortunately this season has seen us lose 2 more than we had this time, and we are 3points worse off I believe.

We haven't spent big in the January transfer window for the best part of ten years!!
