Having a bit of a debate on twitter about who should be the keeper against Chelsea in the Cup Semi.

For me, it's a no-brainer, it has to be Friedel; not playing your best team in a Cup Semi is just plain stupid, and I don't really agree with going with sentiment for sentiment's sake, especially as it is an older goalkeeper who has won many finals before.

There are some who think Cudicini deserves to take us as far as we go.

Any thoughts?

Cudicini comes for crosses and set pieces, I'd go with him. Both sterling keepers though.

Voted Friedel by accident to be honest. Think Cudicini has done well and deserves to be stuck with.

I'd go with Cudicini. Hasn't really done anything to suggest that the overall team will be weaker with him in goal.

Gomes. Why isn't he an option?

Failing that Friedel, I don't know why we're resting him in such an important match

Yep Cudicini for me, he's been in the Cup side and he it isn't weakening the side, in fact some might argue he should be edging Friedel out in any case.

Well Gomes is injured for a start, and also clearly not being considered for first team action

Obviously it's Cudicini's old club - might that give him an edge? I remember he seemed especially up for the Inter game when he had connections with the opposition.

Gomes is our best keeper.

No no

Gomes has all the attributes and talent to be our best keeper, but in practice he is far too mentally weak to pull it off.

Cudicini. It's the cup and he has earned it.

Carlo all the way.

He'd be playing against his old club.

He's taken us this far.

He hasn't put a foot wrong when he's played this season (again).

He's probably just as good as Brad IMO.

Have to stick with Carlo. Been at it from the start of the tournament no reason for him to be left out. Simples really
