Surprised that Rosetti or Rizzoli isn't the referee for such a big game.

He gave him a straight red for a sarcastic applause in his face. Is that right? I walked into the room after he showed it.
I didn't see what happened. I went to make a cup of tea and came back to see Sneidjer being pushed off by his own players

Yeah. Inter player booked for diving and Sneijder walked up to the referee applauding and saying "bravo" and got a straight red.

Like I said on the last page, I'm surprised they put a referee whos only done one Champions League match (qualifying round at that) instead of Rosetti or Rizzolli.

2-0 Inter. Pandev with a free kick.

Thought the keeper could have done better, although there was good power on it

Yeh appaling decision, although Sneijder had told the ref to fuck off in English and Italian (and maybe Dutch as well) when he was blocked off.

Milan just haven't been incisive at all. They look very laboured and Inter have taken their chances (although I agree Dida should have done better for the freekick)

I thought it was a great decision

if more refs had the bollox to make calls like that maybe players would think twice about being such disrespectful ****s

Leonardo was too defensive, he waited too long to bring Huntelaar on, that was an all or nothing game for Milan and Inter had 10 men for most of the match and Milan were just pedestrian for a lot of the game.

I'm disappointed, oh well another title to Inter, Mourinho can't seem to fail when it comes to domestic league titles. If I was Man City owners it would be him and him alone I want at the helm.

Inter were never going to lose at 'home'. Mourinho hasn't been beaten in a league tie at home with Porto, Chelski and Inter in 128 games I think it is, last defeat was with Porto in 2002. Unbelievable record.

Watched it for Beckham, he was ok. Crosses overall (moreso second half) were excellent but didn't do much else at all. The game reminded me of us against Liverpool. Milan were just a bit toothless, had a fair bit of possession but didn't do anything with it and Inter always looked dangerous in stages, even with 10 (9) men.

Milan looked poor in the final 3rd. They came out in the 2nd half and dominated up until that Pandev free kick. But they never looked likely to score. Although Ronaldinho was unlucky with his volley early on in the 2nd half. But Inter always looked dangerous on the break. Pandev should have scored when he hit the post. The free kick was well hit, but Didas starting position was poor, he was too far to his right and didn't even attempt a save. Boriello tried hard all game, but was far too isolated. Ronaldinho looked good in patches and totally vanished later on in the game. Overall Inter were too good for Milan and they'll win the Title now.

It was a decent game, but I couldn't watch it every week. I thought EPL players spent alot of time on the floor!

One thing I was impressed with is how Inter set up defensively. Cambiasso literally doesn't move from in front of the back four. With two central midfielders then in front of him, it makes them real hard to break down.

It was a decent game, shame Milan couldn't have offered more of an attacking threat. Dida's starting position for the free kick was really quite poor, he was far to over to the right.

One thing that surprised me was that Pirlo was taking the direct free kicks. His free kicks have been poor for a couple of years now. Surely if you have Beckham in the team, he takes the free kicks ahead of everyone else? Also, i wonder if Ronaldinho will continue taking penalties this season. He has scored a few and missed a few. If he had scored that one last night, it would have been an interesting finish against 9 men. It was a poor penalty in the end though.
