I'd like to toss Diego Costa's ugmug into the ring. Always thought he looked 10 years older than he is and as though he got caught somewhere near the middle of the human evolution chart.

There's also the 17 year old Joseph Minala who plays for Lazio...

2 years ago when my son was in reception there was a kid in his class from Africa (Ghana or Nigeria knowing Hackney demographic). Now I'm not saying he was older than 5, but he was really tall, and while most kids were just kind of learning to use their bodies, this kid was putting linford christie to shame.
Like I said I'm not saying he isn't 5 but I could belive that people from the continent of Africa could have lost birth certificates, or be older than said birth certificates say.

Roma seem to be signing everyone at the moment.

Will have a really strong squad for the EL now.

"Given his goal scoring record, athleticism, and ability to counter attack, Doumbia should slide seamlessly into Rudi Garcia's attacking setup."

:cry::cry::cry::cry:
He seems a good fit for us

Just like Bony did before Swansea bought him - just like Benteke did before Vill signed him

My knowledge of world football and scouting is so limited but even I could identify these 3 as potential successes in the EPL yet we've failed to bring in any (two of which have doubled or more in value since they were signed)

Doumbia is heading to Roma but before the Italian club closed the deal there were also other suitors. Tottenham had made a significant offer to CSKA Moscow for the striker who is currently playing in the Africa Cup, but the Russian club turned it down and he will head to Serie A instead.
I read the other day that Roma's offer is 2.2m Euro loan fee plus 11.2m Euro purchase in the summer. Eek.

He really would've been a great fit for us. Over 2 years I've been pissing people off on here with my repetitive calls for Doumbia to come to THFC, then he seems to be off to Italy for just over £11mil :(
