If you think we need to sign Long when we have Coulthirst and now Shillow Tracey on our books - you're off your head.
So you would rather we relied on a untried kid in our under 21 team or a kid from the non league who is 17 and not even a striker!!! Over Shane long who could come in and do a job and has played at the top level on and off for years . Crazy comment

I should clarify, (no offence intended) you'd have to be slightly dim to think I'm being serious with that - especially with the context of the post I'm replying to.

100% I'd take Shane Long. Quick and nimble enough to partner Kane, hard working and intelligent enough to lead the line on his own. Good passer, decent finisher, touch of flair, would be w very shrewd buy.

Would he improve the starting X1? No. Would he improve the squad? Yes. He wouldn't upset the harmony, wouldn't push Kane towards the exit door, wouldn't cost a fortune, wouldn't be on huge wages. He would fit right in with the ethos, would work fine with HK still on the pitch or not and would work his nuts off. I'd have him all day long.

Don't rate him don't think he is anywhere near good enough for us. Also completely against our present transfer ethos, and I'm so certain he is not for us that if by some miss chance we sign him I will donate £100 to this site.
Never been afraid to put my money where my mouth is.

Although you're absolutely right, there's a reason our skipper recently stated ....

Tottenham Hotspur 'must add experience' to young squad to become great team

Not had much chance to read this thread thoroughly but is this one looking likely or just media bullshit?

Would definitely take him all day long if you'll pardon the pun

Sadly (in my opinion) it seems to be just media filling inches in their papers, mate.
