Yeah he raised our profile as "Club which sacks managers after 18 months"

Are you saying he hasn't improved the club since taking over? If we want to look at this objectively then we have to give him credit for the things he's done well.

Didn't we beat Sunderland and Fulham away in consecutive games?

Shame on you for bending the stats in your favour!

Not much bending needed and had we not won against those bottom 3 sides, it would've been 2 points from 7 at worst, 4 points from 7 at best.

Yeah but guess what, AVB left us in a better position than we are now sitting in 8th place!

Had he been at charge for a bit longer, it would've been worse than 7th or 8th.

All those who wanted AVB out who are now complaining about Sherwood.
You wanted him out and you got what you wanted. Suck it up!!
It's pathetic to turn on the new manager after his second game in charge.
But he's not the manager they wanted to replace the retard. Now we've got another retard. make me manager. Waaaaah. Waaaah.

Well 3 games in and
He's said himself he's had no time to actually train the players due to the quickness of the fixtures schedule at the moment. Give him a chance! He knows today was a game we expect to win and he also knows Stoke is now must win.

There is no excuse for these tactics though.

It really is schoolboy tactics.

So far his management of this team has been nothing short of shocking,

I'll give him time though, mainly because I have no choice.

The catastrophic collapse of this club. Unbelievable.

Never trust a guy that plays the old school 4-4-2

He obviously knows nothing about modern football.

He has not a clue bless him!

So who does deserve to be managing Spurs?
There couldn't of been any "top" managers who applied. Cause if they had then they would of been given the job. Supposedly rebuffed by LVG, De Boer and Laudrop.
Who would you have given the job to?

You don't sack a manager just before Xmas in the situation we are in. You hang on in there and ride the storm. To sack him and employ somebody with no experience when we are having a perceived poor season is ridiculous.

Managerial changes are supposed to be made for the better good of the football club, this one is more like when Blackburn sacked Allardyce than being a good FOOTBALLING decision.

I do have sympathies with those who are worried as hell though. Why wouldn't they be? We be laughing our tits off if Roman sacked Maureen and installed Jody Morris as permanent manager and Chelsea fans would be shitting it. Statistically, it's going to end badly. Hopefully Tim bucks the trend but how often do these moves work out?
How did the big foreign managers work out?

I was quite underwhelmed with Jol and Redknapp, they didn't do too bad.

Kind of wish I wasn't a Spurs fan right now. It's funny enough but we must be getting slaughtered. assnal fans must be like pigs in clover and fair play to them. Mind the gap and all that. Hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaa.

1 league cup game at home lost against West Ham

1 lucky 3-2 win against Southampton with an own goal.

1 draw at home against the mighty West Brom

Fantastic stats so far for the Gooner Snake

Said similar myself. Both guys DL wouldn't have gone near unless forced. Which brings us back to the entire problem...he needs to fuck off completely from the football side of things. As a money man, there's nobody better. Nobody even near him tbh. He's got Baldini in, his 3rd DoF, now he needs to let him to do his job.

Tim needs to sort it out and fast. He's got my support though, and I really can't understand the calls for him to go. We need to give him a chance now and calling for his head already is pretty laughable to be honest.

It'll be a steep learning curve for him, but I hope he understands what mistakes he might have made and how to improve the team because fortunately the league is wide open this year and with half the season to go we can make top 4, despite what some of you doom-mongers say. ;)

COYS.

Granted, I missed most of the game today and we know he's inexperienced but this is a must. As inexperienced as he is, I'm sure i've read on here that Ramsey has alot of badges and even assesses people taking their own. If that really is the case, and how the youth setup has been playing is he giving advice to Tim, or is he being ignored by the new man?

Nope, it's worse than that: They pity us.

Spent boxing day with a horrifying number of Gooner relatives and they all seem to feel quite sorry for us. And think Levy is dangerous and crazy.

I have complained about levy for years. The sale of our best players, no proper replacements, the lack of investment in our CL season, the poor choice of managers etc etc.

I'm missing something here - bearing in mind our injuries, what was so wrong with his team or the formation?

We had WBA on the rack for the last 25 mins and we played a decent pressing game the whole match. The fact that Dawson and Vlad play like bambis on ice is not down to TS - they were doing that before!

What has TS done wrong so far?
