Sherwood wants Andros Townsend and Emmanuel Adebayor on permanent deals and Tom Carroll on a season-long loan.

I want Carrol to stay here next season but the other two if the price is right for Townsend then yeah great.
EDIT: if taking Carrol on loan is the deal breaker then yes to all three

Would like to see this happen actually, We all know Ade is no good for us, Townsend is decent however I don't think he will get much game time, great for T.Carrol to gain experience and come back to us, sooo overall a not bad offer for both parties. What would be brilliant though is if we offer the same deal, plus cash for BENTEKE. Now that would be a fantastic deal.

They can have Adebayor but I'd keep the other two.

I know I'm one of a few who still has high hopes for Andros and really believe he could come good.

Regarding Carroll, I hope he's just given a fair chance and see where that takes him. A bit disappointed with his Euro showings but you could say that about the majority of the England team.

If this goes through, Tim will become our best ever manager :D

It would be a shame to lose Townsend (without proper replacement), but getting rid of Adebayor is almost worth it. Carroll on loan, well, it's probably good for him.

Excellent. I'd take that in a heartbeat providing we are talking at the 10+ million mark.

Hell, I'd do the job lot for 20m. We have non defensive midfielders coming out our ears and the other two players don't provide much end product. Sad to see two youth products go but two others in Veljkovic and Pritchard could cover their squad spots.

I wouldn't. Townsend is an England international, and - in his day - Ade has been a world class striker.

With his man-management skills, Sherwood could get both playing to their potential.

Maybe he could... but we haven't been able to get them consistently firing so I don't really worry so much, its not like they're untried.

Best of luck to them if they do go.

No to Tom Carroll if it means him sitting on the bench. Would be better off playing in Europa and Capital One.
No to Townsend unless really good money.
Adebayor? I have the engine started.

Crikey, a rational post putting forward an alternative perspective in a convincing way. What's Spurscommunity coming to?

Agreed, if we let them go then best of luck to them.

I think Adebayor will set the place on fire whoever he signs for. We will just have to take that on the chin.

The same man management skills that led to him coming out and proclaiming half of the squad he was working with at THFC wasn't good enough, just a week or so after telling the world he was happy with that squad, and would be happy if the transfer window closed that day ?

Or the same man management skills that proudly proclaimed "I don't tell Ade what to do, I just let him go out and do his thing" ?

And where Townsend is concerned, Sherwood was his manager for 6 months, and still got the square route of fuck all out of him. I'm not being argumentative towards you, I'm just saying he doesn't have what you appear to believe he has (y)
