Pfft, Pochettino has already turned an 18 year old League 1 player into a Premier League and England star and YPOTY contender. It's too easy for him.

He wants a greater challenge, so next up: turn a 17 year old non-League footballer into a Premier League star.

Is he a striker or a midfielder?

The daily mail article describes him as a CM who can also play the 10 role.

The youngster has played in central midfield for the Vanarama National South side this season but can also play in the No 10 role.

He played for 2 games with Spurs in a US youth tournament (IMG) in December as a wide forward as far as we can tell, and Ebbsfleet website has referred to him as a striker.

As part of their development youth players can be played in different positions, so assuming he joins we'll see what our youth coaches make of him - I doubt very much we'll see much of him with the first team

For the record, weirdly and somewhat randomly, Alan Brazil mentioned him on TS this morning. He said from what I gather the deal has been done and he's signing for Spurs. He went on to say that he'll be one to keep an eye on as he has big potential or something like that.

I assume any youngster we sign these days we will hear similar. All in an attempt to say "see, I told you he'd be a star" down the road after Poch does what Poch does.

Poch and his Midas Touch.

All this?

2 and bit pages on a forum doesn't seem like a lot to me.

It's a complete non event, but it's all over newsnow. Tottenham are signing youngsters all the time

Like everyone else, Brazil has never heard of the wonderkid who has never played for an Academy or a non league club

I'm not sure that's entirely true but ok.

As it happens I think Brazil was getting confused with the lad from Charlton, Ade Lookman. I'm sure I heard him say Spurs are signing Shilow Tracey from Charlton and I knew that was wrong at the time. I think he just got his names confused.

Any transfer is all over everywhere right now because they garner plenty of clicks.

Not an official Twitter feed and nothing more was added...
It is the account of a Spurs fan that follows our youth teams (they also post on here but I forgot which poster it is) that was at the game. What more was there to add?

Just saw it initially and thought it was a club tweet and would suggest deal done rather than fan tweet, that's all.
As to follow up, would've thought he might've seen if he could get a word with him.
