In Singapore there are:
Loads of Liverpool (due to Stan Chart's) sponsorship and history.
Arsenal - they have football schools here
Chelsea
Man U
Barca
And a few Spurs (although the Singapore Spurs Supporters Club is a well-organised outfit that is spreading the word - so hopefully we're growing)

Singapore is small and affluent. Across most of Asia it's fakes, good fakes, but fakes nonetheless. Mainly because 40-60 quid is obscene and more than many will earn in a month.

Nah... Singapore not much fake stuff any more, usually easier to find them in Malaysia and Thailand.
Singapore majority support's Man Utd and Liverpool, and also ars*nal. basically because those teams actually came here to play in the 80s/90s, tottenham did too... but they lost to the national team (trust me, i am still embarrass by that!) (fyi, 1-1, lost on pens).
There have been more chelsea supporters since RA bought them, and now a growing number of Citeh.
since we don't really have much of a national league, and our national team doesn't do well in international competition. most people support a team from each of the various leagues around the world (england especially since commentary is in English, as compared to Spain, Italy, France etc). so its not really fair to compare for example, man utd and madrid fans, since of man utd fans, u will find about 40% support both teams, 40% support man utd and braca, the other supports a different team or don't follow spainish league.

Went to Egypt about 5 years ago and was happy to see quite a lot of people in Spurs shirts. We had Mido and Ghaly playing for us, and even the street stalls had Spurs shirts ahead of United and Liverpool in their displays at the time.
Thts good to know coz my friends in the US have been moaning about getting the top onver there so as avoiding paying the large shipping fee from UK to the US. May'be this means you can get them in Atalanta and other place will follow. Thanks.

I live in Oman. I see Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, Barcelona, Milan, Real Madrid, Juventus shirts all over the place. Some real, most not. Some Saudi or UAE teams too. National teams, mostly Brazil or Italy plus the various versions of the Oman national shirt (I have the new, genuine one from the football association but so many just buy any old red Oman shirt). People buy shirts because it matches their other clothes, or because they simply loooove Barcelona or Real Madrid.. difficult not to when your own national league is crap.
Recently I was in Malaysia and saw a market seller guy wearing the purple Spurs shirt from the season just gone, did a double take and made him have his photo taken with me. Again the same teams on sale there, it was rare to see anything Spurs related. Genuine or not.

In Thailand, you really can find a lot of football shirts. But a lot of his stuff makes me feel insecure. It was recommended to me by a football shirt online sales site http://www.footballtshirtuk.com/ , it was bought?
