I realised the same thing earlier (catching citeh) so I knew it was important to get the 3 points yesterday.

As for liverpool, they're not out of the picture but I reckon they'd have to win every game for the rest of the season, no one is going to do that. I think with liverpool the honeymoon could be over anyway. If the make some good signings they could be a threat next season

Following the results yesterday it has now become a five horse race. Liverpool and Sunderland are no longer realsitic threats. We must concentrate on finishing above Chelsea or Citeh - preferably both.

Liverpool could be a danger next season, but I do wonder what effect failure to qualify for Europe might have on their signing new players in the summer, and even on the attitude of expensive recent signings. I expect them to finish 6th, though, and I expect them to be stronger next season.

Agree, Suarez from what I have seen looks a steal.

probably very little i bet due to the size and prestige of the club, joe cole choosing them over us is testament to that i think.

as for being a threat, not this season, they'll do well to finish 6th ahead of sunderland. they have some tricky games

pmsl at all the scouse lovers who had them fighting it out for the top 4 because of King Kenny and the slayer of the Dutch league 'Super Suarez'!

We all wanted him last month it seems. Knowing Harry he'd still play Crouch though so there's probably no point.

Suarez is a very good goalscorer but he needs a striker partner, and we need a focal point to be our number 9.

There is no way in hell Liverpool will finish higher than 6th, so let's put this thread to bed. Should never have been created in the first place.

Yes we should be worried. Worried that we won't make the most of Pool's loss and Man City's draw and when Man U beat the Chavs I hope the team sees this as a brilliant chance to make up for the loss at Blackpool

After today's results, we may have a better chance for 4th. City are 3 pts ahead & played one more than us. Liverpool are probably too far behind to catch us.
