Hi all,
I am one of the "lucky" few who bought an Alli jersey just prior to the name switch. Spurs made an offer to anybody that bought the jersey before the official announcement was made would be able to send it in and get it signed. Was actually on my honeymoon and dragged the misses to White Hart Lane for a tour. Highly recommend it for anybody who has not done it yet...I just got it back in the mail signed by him.

I don't plan on selling it - but am just curious what the value of it is. Any idea? I'm from the states and don't really know the memorabilia demand. Cheers.
Also - if this should have been posted elsewhere - my bad.

Anyone know the reason for the name switch?

He doesn't have a good relationship with any of his birth family apparently, and said he feels no connection to the name Alli. Plus I think Dele is more distinct and marketable and he's probably purchased dele.com - which I notice is currently "not active"

Shirt. You bought an Alli shirt.

Only kidding, hold onto it because if he has the career we all hope he will then it will probably be worth a hell of a lot in 20 years time if you decide to sell it and society hasn't completely collapsed.

Yea. You're right. If Dele has the career on the soccer field that we all hope that he will have, then it will be quite an item.

Especially since they will no longer print "Alli" shirts from this point forward.

i reckon if youve got any correspondence or written confirmation/certificate from the club that goes with the shirt up to £300 if the shirt is flawless.

If not it will depend on the buyer believing you (some guys have a pic of a player signing a shirt then sell loads of them on internet over a period of time)
