Sounds like we need 12 positives within our registered 25 man squad to get a postponement.
On the 12 positives of Covid
My LFT gave to me
Exit from the Conference League

My LFT gave to me
A postponement against Brighton
And an exit from the Conference League

if anyone wants to take on the next 10 ‘days’ feel free!

Just read that if positive again, all players have to isolate for 10days. The bubble situation from last year where once you test negative again, can join in is not here anymore. Meaning those 5 miss next 3 games. Got to try and get Brighton game called off now, they will be extremely happy to agree to it with the injuries aswell.

Can we not get another thread locked please. If people want to discuss the merits of the current covid rules there‘s a thread for it down in the chat section.

Dear God no. I've got tickets for tomorrow, which means I'm likely to see the 11 that started for mura? Got the Italian inlaws over, if I take him to that mess I might get bullets in the post....

I’m sure I heard them mention that a couple of the Norwich players were just back from COVID related absences.
I hope it’s not related or that they’re false positive’s.

I wouldn’t worry- you’ll definitely miss the game if you think it’s on tomorrow!!

Sure none of them are remotely ill. This needs to stop! Are we going to keep testing people forever more??
I mean it's been said to death, it because of transmitting it further - ie club staff, staff at hotspur way, stadium staff etc, etc. This is the new norm now, you're going to have to get used to it.

If it's omicron, then wouldn't the whole squad potentially need to self-isolate, even on a negative test?

Its unlikely as there's only 400-500 reported cases of it so far.
Much more likely to be good old Delta.

but that number has been quickly growing over the last few days (at least in scotland) but does it matter what variant they have?
Its all still the same guidance isnt it

Any contact with Omicron is 10 days isolation (regardless of being fully vaccinated or testing negative yourself)

My son's GF has been in contact with someone who has suspected Omicorn and has been told to self-isolate for 10 days , even though her PCR's have come back negative.
