Yes we can!

i think we'll lose V inter. so it depends on Werder and Twente against each other. them drawing again would be best but if one of them had to win, it would be better for WErder to do it because of Twente's draw with inter. Then we'll effcetively have set up a one leg knockout game at home V werder. And i would have taken that senario at the start of the season.

I have a real feeling that we will beat Inter at home. The atmosphere will be amazing and the significane of the come back last night is not to be underestimated.

Bremen will still be dangerous, and we cant afford anymore complacency now. Twenty away will be tougher than many think, I could see us drawing that.

Its the two home games that will qualify us IMO. 4 more points might do it, but 5 would seal it.

To be honest its injuries that could throw a spanner in the works. We cant afford anymore injuries....and we need Dawson back now, how long is he away from returning? Surely he's back soon?

The only thing I'm worried about is whoever's playing Inter last, might be playing against a reserve team!

Think back to expectations against Seville when it all went tits up as per Spurs in stressful situations.

Hopefully this class is picking up valuable lessons on their respective steep learning curve and will see this group out.

I believe we'll scrape through.

If we don't we'll go in to the Europa as one of the favourites.

The stand out fact in this is that we are in this position having been reuced to 10 men in two of the three games. We are by no means a dirty team, so if we can just cut that out I thinkwe will be fine.

I voted yes but being spurs we will make it very hard for ourselves before we just scrape in in the last game and with 10 minutes to go we are 1 goal away from being knocked out and i will have had 8 poos due to me nerves.......!

Not only can we now get through I believe that we will beat Inter at the Lane and top the group..... and hopefully avoid the top teams in the next stages. Those Bale goals were unbelievably important...Inter will now be very nervous...they could easily lose to Spurs and end up 2nd and facing someone like Chelsea or Barca in the next round.

I'm just looking forward to Inter focusing all their powers on Bale, probably by putting Zanetti right midfield, Santon right wing and Maicon right back, and getting fucked over by Van der Vaart when there's no midfield there to track him.

I think that if they do that, Lennon will have a blinder...it is what I was expecting on Wednesday night and had a few quid on Aaron to be first goalscorer - think I'll do the same for the re-match:grin:

We definitely good enough to win all 3 games to end up topping the group. We do that and we should get a much better draw for the first round of the knock out stages!

That said, i think 4 points, a draw away at Twente and a home win against Werder Bremen will be enough to secure 2nd place and i'd bite your hand off if you offered me that at the beginning of the group stages!
