i thot of that too, so i went for an england player. don't think it was going to be a striker (i mean, how many can u score against Italy) don't think it was going to be a defender (really thot italy should have atleast gotten a goal), no wingers since not much assist. so it was either Hart, Parker or Gerrard. lol!

I don't remember them giving a MOTM, but then I don't think anyone could argue against Pirlo for the BOBB. I had 0-0 at half time, though.

I can't remember when a team has allowed a player that much space (I'm not counting players who are marked but still find the spaces, like Modric and the late, great John White).

I kept saying last night that Hodgson should have taken off Young or Welbeck early in the 2nd half and put on Jones to man-mark him. we looked like amatuers out there last night.

A lot of people are deflated and somewhat depressed today, and they say the same as Cosmic, Nailsy & Nightgoat...amongst others...
I hear, already, the "Harry would have done it differently" comments, and maybe he would have...we'll never know, the main complaints are Hodgsons inclusion of Milner, Henderson & Jones at the expense of other players.
Oh yeah, and Rooney's obvious lack of match fitness.
