btw is anybody else annoyed about how ignorant the guys on wsd are on about spurs. howard basically went on slating our entire defense....is this the same D that had the best home record. then he said dont even get me started on their mid. our only weak mid player is jenas imo and i dont hate him i just dont think he should be a starter.

plus they said huntelaar would never go play for spurs when he agreed to come but his wage demands were too high.

Care to reccomend me the best places to visit and shop over their. Will be over in a few weeks :-D

You should get drunk in the Castro and let locals put some smarties in your drinks. You'll have a old great time :shifty:

To be honest SF isn't that great. It's quite small too at only around 7 miles long. Be sure to wear comfy shoes as there are a lot of hills (man-made no less) and wear several layers of clothes as the weather changes by the hour.

loads of things to do here. as ky has mentioned, union square is the epicenter for shopping in this town, but there are great little boutiques throughout the city. looking for anything specific?

Like I said good for a visit but not somewhere to live. I made that mistake a few years ago.

Racky if you get a chance do cross the bridge into Sausalito (sp?) which is a quaint little touristy town.

Couldn't agree more mate, good place to visit but I'd hate to live there. I lived there for a while and missed L.A. big time (I'm from London by the way).

Sausalito is a nice part of the world, pretty quiet though!!!

I'm gonna be in New York for the Blackburn game on 13th March. Any decent places to watch it? Preferably somewhere that does waffles.

 I have that exact same problem. When I got news that I had been accepted to study at LSU for a year I thought great then I realised that I'm not going to be able to go to any CL games next season. I guess I'm going to have to settle for watching the games in a bar in Baton Rouge.
