Alot of people say that he hasn't kicked on or that he is unambitious but I disagree.

For me it comes down to one thing, his hamstring. He did his hamstring and rushed himself back for the world cup but since then he hasn't looked the same.

He hasn't got that raw pace he once had and has been reluctant every since to take on the fullback, he imo adapted his game so that he doesnt have to run at full pelt as much as before(or accelerate at full pelt). He also now though does track back more and keeper a deeper position.

Arsene Wenger made a very good point a couple of years back, saying that a hamstring injury is the hardest injury to recover from, not because it will take a long time for it to physically heal(which it wont). But because the injury destroys the players mentality, it adds a seed of doubt to the player making them afraid of doing it again, he mentioned that it is something that alot of players don't come back from.

That they are afraid of doing it again that they don't look like the player they once were and that them changing their game, results in the other aspects of their game suffer, as the way they played before(the way they shot, crossed and etc.) is no longer applicable since that they don't play at speed or style anymore. Essentially they have to learn how to play football again.

I think we could say that he was talking about Torres(wenger did say it before torres did his hamstring)

I spent most of last season calling him average, but I have to hold my hands up and confess I was hopelessly wrong. he's actually just a shit player now, by any objective measure. nothing against the guy personally, but the sooner we get rid, the better.

I'd sooner sell Wingus (Lennon) and Dingus (Townsend) and give Ceballos and Pritchard an opportunity in the first team. Can't be any less productive and could very easily be a vast improvement

As long as he only gets playing time as a left winger, there's no point in keeping him around.

That starting acceleration over 10 yards! In his prime he could probably skin any defender in world football, even the king. Prem league players would die to have what he naturally had, good balance and decent strength too.

What a waste, what a waste man you are Lennon (in premier league terms)

If he worked half as hard on his game as ronaldo and bale ( I'm sure there are many others but I know for a fact how hard those 2 worked on their game) the. He would be at barca, Madrid etc
But you can just tell he's one of those Bentley types, all flash, night clubs and girls. Which is great no doubts but...he could have been so much more. His career is gonna fizzle out hard soon, wright Phillips style.

I still have hope for andros, as he has great desire to be a huge huge player. Just needs to study the fine details of movement, awareness and link play, then worry about perfecting the bale shot accuracy

I think he's very talented but very unambitious. Hence a lot of folk think he's never stepped up to his true potential, & hence he's probably perfectly happy seeing out his days with us
Sad considering his first year with us and world cup appearance in 2006. He had quite the future back then.

He doesn't seem like the kind of player who has a real passion for the game. Not the sort who'll go seeking an MLS deal or other overseas deal. Even though he may get paid more than he's on now. I'd love to see him play for my local team here in Australia, Newcastle Jets F.C in the A-League or another team.

@prawnsandwich So you think Andros has hit the spot with the execution of his abilities and his progressive qualities?
He didn't do too badly yesterday. He looked like he was on his way back to fitness.

We turned down a big fee for Andros and the reason is not because the people who run Spurs are idiots. If he is given a chance in the EPL I am confident he will take it.

I thought he has a chronic hip condition?
Osteitis Pubis or some such. Maybe that cleared up.
