Would it not be a case of Oxford OR Fosu-Mensah? Are they not both Dier esque type players?
I think there's real balance about the squad now, with some genuine talent on the horizon.

I think Sessegnon to give us a natural progression on the left is a smart move.
Then someone in the Fosu-Mensah/Oxford mould, to come in and give us the next line pushing CB/DM/CM is also a wise option.
The final addition I'd be looking at would be a pacy/powerful player capable of fitting in up top, a Rashford type hybrid WF/CF, WF short term but would mature to CF in time.
I had thought a CM could be needed, (Dembele type), but I think Winks and Onomah could have that coveted over time.

If we want a left back I would love to see us go after Jetro Willems. Been injured a lot, but he is extremely gifted and the kind of defender who can create a ton of chances.

Speaking of LBs, I saw Wolfsburg play Werder last night, and they have a young one called Jannes Horn, who's keeping Ricardo Rodriguez out of the side. He was very good, really solid defender for one so young, and put in some lovely balls when attacking. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

From what I can see, Rodriguez has started every match this season (full 90 minutes) apart from the one you mention.

Apparently Horn came on in the last match and did so well he started he next one, which I was the one I watched. Was the man of the match. Looks a real talent.

A player worth watching is Kieran Tierney at Celtic.. can cross with either foot ( personally I wouldn't have a FB that can't use both feet.. needs a bit of work on concentration in defending.. that's the fault that can be worked on...... If I was given a choice of young fullbacks to chose from it would be Kieran Tierney

Kasper Dolberg looks outstanding, 4 in 6 this season, 6ft 1, exactly the kind of striker we would be looking to bring in, him and Harrison would be an exciting pair to bring through, I think that KD wouldn't be too expensive either, hope we have maintained a strong relationship with Ajax over the years.

Oxford would be a good call as well, questionable attitude I think though, wasn't there something about him demanding 20K a week off of WHU or something? Still, he is best mates with Marcus Messi, so I'm sure he could get glowing reviews about the club from him, wouldn't need to move house or anything either?

Very good player too! And has his contract running down, expires this summer! Is very very quick and energetic, suites our system well, not sure how cut out Davies is offensively in our current system..

I don't see the need for another striker.

Oxford's contract runs until 2019, nothing immediate will happen.
It ends in 2018, he last signed a contract on his 17th Birthday (December 2015) and contracts for players 18 and under can't exceed 3 years. West Ham offered him another contract in the summer (which would have extended it until 2019) but refused to sign it.

Really good attacking & a can at times deliver good crosses.. defensively though he's really bad.. he'd need a lot of coaching to be good enough for PL

like the idea of signing him and going to a tribunal - west ham probably wouldn't get much because he started with the spurs academy

We were linked when he was leaving Fulham on a free. Moment has passed. Now being touted around for circa £40 million. Funny what can happen in six months.

This isn't the Celtic one, it's yet another Moussa dembele.
