I have used advanced scouting techniques, scouring through hundreds of databases (FIFA 17), to identify potential creative/intelligent players that we could target in January.

Max Meyer

Bernardo Silva

Lorenzo Insigne

Isco

Shinji Kagawa

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Jean Michaël Seri

Julian Brandt

Thorgan Hazard

Yunus Mallı

Hakan Çalhanoğlu

Hakim Ziyech

Oleg Shatov

Rachid Ghezzal

Morgan Sanson

Nabil Fekir

Domenico Berardi

What about Ante Coric?

seen a bit of max meyer recently whilst scouting nabil. he's tidy and works hard but lacks the x-factor we need, reminds me a bit of holtby.

Fekir has looked sharp. Think he has the physicality for the Premiership.

Mikhitarian. Maybe no good regarding age remit we now seem to be following. Exceptional talent at Dortmund. No doubt understands the high energy press game having worked under Klopp.

Seems out of favour at UTD. I'd certainly welcome him.

Soul destroying that we spent 30m on Sissoko when could have picked up Fekir for a fait bit less I reckon, and we probably could have picked up Lacazette maybe 5m GBP more. And considering Lacazette's age, skill set (can play as a wide forward or AM) and is a great finisher too, even paying a few quid more would have represented much better value than the huge pill we're going to swallow when we can't give Sissoko away in a years time.

Tolisso is another who would have improved us as a team and has the character for the PL too. Even on a bad day, Saturday, he was very good, tackles, intercepts, sees the through ball. 22yo.

Another scary thought, we paid as much for N'Koudou as Dortmund paid for O.Dembele :(

Lol Lyon wanted shitloads for Lacazette, closer to £50m.

A player i've been keeping my on eye for a while is Wilfried Kaptoum at Barca, first say clips of him on some Barca forum 3-4 years ago when he was mid teens and I likes what I saw of him, strong, good skill on the ball and eye for a pass. Plays central mid and is very creative.

Not sure if Barca would sell him though, but they have so many players of talent who knows. I think he would be suited to the English game and would be a great asset in our team. Looks like Liverpool have been scouting him recently according to the Mirror. And I would be annoyed if they signed him and we weren't interested.

I think he's played one or two friendlies or cup games for the 1st team but mainly plays for the B team.

Sissoko makes Bolasie at 27m look exceptional value, that is how absurd that transfer was. Quite frankly if Daniel Levy had taken 30m in 5 pound notes and burnt them on the half way line at WHL I think we'd have received far more enjoyment than we will over the 5 year contract we've given this donkey.

Sissoko is only going to end up costing 6 mill though?

Looks a tidy player. Many similarities to Winks in my book, but may have a better burst forward. I for one am all for stacking our clubhouse with talented youth. Cheap and as likely to become a star than any other transfer. Nothing is guaranteed and I am fine taking a gamble on youth

Yes at the end of the window when they had no time to buy. Earlier in the summer they wanted less as they had Ben Yedder lined up as a replacement. He never joined WHU, even though they were willing to pay the going rate, as he wanted to join a club in the CL.....

West Ham bid about £40m early in the window and it was rejected.

Such a shame we ended up with N'jie instead of Werner. He has just taken his tally for the season to 5 goals and 3 assists in 9 games. He has been unplayable this season for Leipzig who will be joint top alongside BM after today. Absolutely qulity player who would have suited the English league perfectly. Must say, I feel our attacking recruitment is nowhere near as good as our defensive recruitment. I guess it's something that we wanted him, Isco etc. But when u end up with likes of Sissoko it doesn't really matter who you were interested in.
