Gards has said Sessegnon is a done deal on Twitter.
Hercules gave this a winner rating so seems there might be truth in it. Question is, will be brought in as a winger or wing back. If there is truth in our Pulisic interest then I hope Sess doesn’t effect any potential move.

Pulisic can play on both sides. I can’t see how it would effect a move for him as we’re lacking quality in several areas. I can see Sessegnon playing as a left wing back and Pulisic being competition for Eriksen, Alli and Son.

Wonder what kind of fee they would demand. I wouldn't be against us signing him for the same amount we spent on Sanchez. Feel like he's going to be a star.

Would be cool to finally sign Kluivert - feel like we were linked to his dad loads of times during the Teletext days (you may not know what this is, not sure if you had Ceefax across the pond)

I agree that we could use both. But I guess I wonder if we plan for Sess to be a wing back. I know Pulisic can play across the three, I just prefer him on the left and I just can’t see us spending 80+ mil on two attacking mids. Hence the wonder at where we see Sess playing.

Be surprised if he left this season, he’s only 18 and these were his first goals of the season. He does look to have a lot of talent, but I could also imagine he would benefit from another season starting week in week out. Got to be carful we don’t end up in a N’jie mk3 situation. Even if this kid looks to have more potential.

Yeah, I’d be surprised too. I was coming from the novelty side of things. Neres has been the one I’ve been v impressed with from Ajax this season. De Ligt is looking good too.

I think we could loan them a couple of our youngsters.

I wonder if they would take someone like Nkoudou or Sissoko too.

Do you really think GNK or any of our youngsters gonna get in this Watford side? Their team is full of good players. Watford is a top 10 PL team, not some middle of the pack championship side ffs :ROFLMAO:

Gonna have to pay top dollar for Richarlison to have any chance

Looks like we are looking at quality, young attacking options in Pulisic, Kluivert, Sessegnon and Richarlison. Imagine we may be preparing for a potential minor exodus. All these options provide that beat a man option we are crying out for. Hopefully the likes of Edwards and Shashoua can make an impression too, though think the targets are different kinds of players to the academy lads.

Pulisic would be the perfect compliment to Eriksen and Kane. Would supply so much service to Kane and offer a goal threat. If anyone has watched more of BD you would see how many chances he creates for dude I can’t pronounce or spell.

I like to think he's already been mentioned here, but I have a slight hope that Spurs will nick the field to Hamburg's Jan-Fiete Arp. Been watching him a lot as I follow Hamburg, and there is a very, very good reason why Chelsea tried to buy him this previous summer before he had even played a pro match, and he's allegedly being tracked by Real Madrid and Manchester City. This kid is 17, and has 3 goals in 5 Bundesliga matches, with an own goal he enforced today against Hoffenheim.

He has said recently that he models himself after Kane, and my god, the similarities between the two are eerie. He also purposefully rejected that offer from Chelsea this past summer, as he said he wanted to focus on his development. This means a few things which work in our favor, and lend to my slim albeit realistic hopes we might have a chance here:

1) He's watching us. He's watching Kane, noted his track of development, and it follows that he must also have been paying attention to what's been happening with

2) Poch. Young players anywhere will be interested in playing for him, and especially someone who wants to emulate Kane himself.

3) He's prioritized development rather than the big stage, big paycheck. His father, who was a professional athlete himself, is heavily involved. Between the kid not being your average dolt, and his father, this reminds me of the scenario of a player in our ranks who was also chased by clubs with more money, Christian Eriksen.

May be quite the stretch, and I'll probably end up wrong someday, but for now I've got a bit of hope this might work out. I'm hoping Hamburg holds on to him for a few more years, but when he does eventually move on, I'd love to see him pull on the lillywhite.

I don't think an excerpt from Poch's book about last January has much bearing on what we'll do this January.

Maybe not but I really can’t see us bringing anyone in. Barkley is the most likely if he plays before the end of January but it’s gone very quiet on him. Physioroom says 10 December but who knows how accurate that is.

Anyone know anything about this Adam Mesina kid that we are being linked with in the event of Rose leaving? Apologies if already discussed.

Pulisic alone would be £80mil mate, not happening.
