The fact Pulisic is American will be big for Levy. Huge marketing potential in a big market.

If you also factor in his age, ability and position he certainly tick many boxes

Apparently he has a achievable release clause in the contract he recently singed, according to ITK.
Ah didn’t know that. Would be surprised but amazing if so. Would be ideal for us. Him and Barkley would be missing pieces to puzzle. If not Pulisic then Zaha next summer. Some people say Zaha. Turned us down as we’d not pay him £100k a week but I don’t buy that I think the club wouldn’t sell him and as that is his boyhood club he respected their wishes and got his head down to help them out of trouble, surely if they get relegated this year or just stay up again he needs to at his age be making a move.

Forgot he is American. Couldn’t be a more ideal signing to take us into the new stadium. NFL game and Pulisic signing, yes please.

There was ITK that Zaha snubbed us because we offered him £40k a week.

Just don’t see it mate, their chairman came out and repeatedly said he wasn’t for sale just like West Brom over berahino so I don’t think the contract or wages were the issue.

If you see him interviewed and the piece on the PL show I’d be extremely suprised if money was his main motivation and that we couldn’t find a middle ground for him wage wise. He grew up near palace and they put faith in him again when man.u didn’t so he feels he owes his boyhood club but I think come next summer we could very likely convince him to go and hopefully by this point Palace will give in, given that he’s been so loyal to him. If we want him that is.

I'm going to watch Sporting CP on Friday so hopefully I'll get a closer look at Gelson Martins. I like that we are being linked to the likes of Pulusic and Sessegnon because these could be the next game changing superstars and fit the mould of player we really need.

On a separate note, how stupid must the Everton owner feel now regarding Barkley? Refused to deal with us because we wanted a low price on a player who's contract was into the final year and was injured. Barkley has been injured, making him a nonentity for them whilst they've been struggling. Could have used that £25m or so on an actual striker. Dummy!

1. Martins, Sessegnon, Pulisic, Richarlison, we all know what type of player we need. It would be utterly disappointing if we fail to get at least one of them (However, I fear that it is possible for Levy not to buy any one of them, or buy some "bargains" like GNK or Njie)

2. I think Everton was really surprised that Barkley opted to pull out the Chelsea deal. They predicted that Chelsea would finally pay the price tag so they waited until the end of the transfer window, and they were correct though. And to be fair, 25m cannot even give you an actual striker nowadays

It would have gone somewhere to getting them Dembele from Celtic

Pulisic and Quincy Promes fit the bill. Would love either of them.

Pulisic doesn't currently have the highest goals and assists ratio, but I think like others have said it's what else he'll bring to the table. Pace/take-on/chance creation.

People keep saying summer 2018 is THE summer for us to alter our transfer strategy. I feel like I've been waiting 15 years to see it in action. In recent years the transfer committee has had a blind spot for attackers.

I think the only guy I'd like to see at Spurs more than Pulisic is Lorenzo Insigne.

Not Quincy Promes... I think the Russian Premier League is his level.

Carlos Soler - Spanish - 20 yo - Valencia FC

Dual footed, close control, competition for central AM position. Seems to be playing many of Valencia's games and shows real composure and creativity around the box. Moves the ball quickly and intelligently.
