I think the time for looking at young wingers/AM is over unless they are going to be a world beater.

If we want a Mirallas we have to get rid of at least one of Chadli(the guy ahead of Mirallas for NT), Lennon, Siggy or Holtby.

He's a decent player, but not really gonna take us to a new level, seems to have injury problems too.

Jefferson Montero, Ecuadorian playing in Mexico. Right footed LW. Bad finisher, but extremely pacy and tricky. Could be a good assister for Soldado. It's the kind of LW we need imo

Yuto Nagatomo

Don't know if he's been mentioned before but I'd love to see him as our left wing back.
Speedy, never stops running. Tenacious and tough. Good crossing, always pushing ahead. Amazing work rate.
Seems to playing at LM for Inter more and more though.

I really like him but he's on a contract with Inter until 2016 so will be expensive. He's also quite short which might be a problem in the PL.

Paul-Georges Ntep has been linked to Spurs lately.
And of course the mandatory youtube clip, where he looks like a world beater ready to flog any FB in any league....

Batshuayi got 2 goals and an assist today

Nice assist by M'Poku for the first. He's an academy product!

I assume you watch the Belgian League a fair bit, what do you think of Mitrovic for Anderlecht? His goalscoring record looks good and he cuts an impressive figure. I think he's going to get a big money move.

Hah well I don't usually watch it because of timezones etc. it was just that our game had finished and this was on, plus I knew bat was one to look out for. I actually haven't seen Mitrovic play at all.

Oh. And thus, my love for budding stars from non-traditional countries is once again unrequited. I'll try to watch some more Anderlecht.

Dont know if he's been mentioned in this thread but Eric Dier.

Apparently Chelsea are sniffing around him, probably as a replacement as Terry.

Plays a lot like Terry and will give anything for team, one of best CBs in league at 19. (20 this month)
He can also leap like a salmon, could be a replacement for Dawson/Kaboul.

Fantastic player. Think he's got basically everything you want in a commanding CB. Decent size (around 6'2") and he carries it well in that he looks athletic on and off the ball. A bit like Caulker but more of a smooth athlete with the potential to become really special.

Aleksandar Mitrovic was a player I wanted us to go after in the summer. I thought he could be our striker of the future similar to how I'm sure we viewed Morata in a potential swap deal involving Bale. Mitrovic is a beast. Only 19 years old but looks like an absolute stud. Good in the air, decent with the ball at his feet and he's got a very well-rounded game for such a young player.

He's been playing up top for Anderlecht with usually a striker playing off of him given his physical ability to win balls in and around the box. Shows the ability to finish in traffic, from the mid-range shot and obviously with his physical ability he can win headers.

I absolutely loved him as a prospect for the future and still do. Him or Batshuayi would make me incredibly happy. Both could be very good on a bigger stage in the near future.

I was watching a PSV game recently (rerun of Ajax PSV) and Jetro Willems really stood out for me. It amazed me to find that he hasn't been linked with any big clubs. He is an absolute star of a lb and he is incredibly skillful.

Capped a few times for the dutch national team as well.

Shaw looks a great prospect but I can't justify the sort of money Southampton are asking for him. Have to be cheaper options like Willems out there.

Willems played for Holland at the last WC without impressing, and - much like van der Wiel - had his value and form drop after that WC. He's not lived upto his early hype at PSV.
Personally I am not so sure whethere he's really got it. I'd rather have Rodriguez myself
