If this company gets in contact with Levy and
Lewis and offers £800 million do you not think they will sell up, they are businessman, of course they will, if this is going to happen it will happen sooner than later, only problem is right now we can't buy anybody but with City's group naming who they want to buy ie Torres, Fabregas and Ronaldo and Dubai not liking it one bit, they'll probably try and get in somewhere before january.

£800m???????? wow

more than double what liverpool were bought for, and they had CL football!

More like £200m i think. .

having spent a while out in the middle east, working in Dubai, Kuwait and a few other places they aint to keen on Jews, but like money more. If they want to buy and make money etc they don't care either way.

You are insane...

----------Pav---------Eto-----------

Barry-----Modric-----Corky--Bentley

Bale------Ledders----Woody--Hutton

----------------Gomes----------------

Bent, JJ, Zok, Lennon, Daws, Dos Santos etc as back up.

Barry 15 million
Eto 35 million

I said if Corky and Pav do the biz. "The biz being scoring 20+ a season and Corky being a great DM for us. Plus the whole team staying fit. Those are two big but's plus we would need the cash injections.

50 million is less than what we sold Keane and Berba for.

It is not that far out, we spent a shitload of money already.

Hey guys, we just drew Chelsea at the Bridge. We don't normally do that. We're going to get better, just watch. Screw Dubai.

I'm not suggesting that is the value, i'm just saying if the company is worth that much they could throw whatever they wanted at Levy and Lewis, £800 million is nothing to them but an awful lot to Levy and co.

Arsenal might refuse though, who knows, if they didn't i'd expect them to be first choice to be honest but who knows, who saw Man City's rise to being the richest club in world football coming. Hands up now....

yeah err, again with the £800million. . . . the arabs - just because they have a bottomless pit of money doesnt mean they arent business men still, realistically why on earth would they offer 3/4 times the clubs worth? If Levy is legit in wanting the best success for spurs then he should try and sell up if there is an offer coming in from DIC.

I think this will happen if they come in for the Club. There's alot of fans out there that will be against this, myself have the feeling of sadness and also excitement at the same time, realistically I know this is the only way we will ever be league champions and possible champions league winners and if we don't accept, then another team will and we will be pushed down the league further. We now can forget about 4th or 5th after this City buyout so Champions league isn't even worth discussing anymore sadly.

The pride in me wants us to stay us we are but I know it's inevitable now, it's just a matter of time, wheather thats days, weeks, months or years.

oh goodness Liverpool and ar5ean1 and even newcastle and Everton will be above spurs in the Maktouns eyes. cAn't see an Arab consortium pursuading a jewish chairman and part owner to sell. A nice jewish russian Billionaire is what we want.... although we've already turned one of those down previously.

Yeah but everybody has a price right, let's just see what happens, if an offer comes in that Levy can't refuse, well, you get the rest, we could end up with Messi, Ribery, Sergio Ramos, Benzema, Villa ourselves.

erm .... the Arse are also pretty connected in Jewish circles.

No they have a diluted connection and have through many avenues, conciously and subconciously looked to distance themselves from any one identity. The same can not be said fo THFC who inwardly and outwardly are a sefl promotiong Jewish club with a nickname "yids"

Chavs are owned by a jewsih russian, west ham also have links through dealings and fan base but niether of those have adopted quite the marketing strategy that we have at times in our history.

If we are mentioned in the next few days in the press as linked to this story, i predict that in the same paragraph that names the other potential clubs we are the only one that gets a jewsih reference or remark, even if wet span and ar5ena1 are the other clubs. I

If we are not singled out in such a away i will be impressed.

Well i'd rather we get them then City, but from what I heard today City only want Ronaldo, Fabregas and Torres so I guess that arab guy's been playing too much Footie Manager aswell, either that or he is quite wealthy, more wealthy than Madrid and Barca.

This is a complete load of bollox, even if Dubai were going to up the ante they would just put pressure on Liverpool, after the failure to secure money for the new stadium they will probably sell.

Stop dreaming, please god I hope that Platini and Doughnut boy put a limit on how much a club can spend (in relation to turnover) we may just then have a chance. I am losing respect for the game, it's sad to see these mega rich gits come in and just throw money around until they win something. What happened to good management, and team work?

Personally I don't want my beloved club to come a playground of some billionaires. I don't want to buy the success. But of course, if you want to succeed, you have to spend. I just feel we have enough money already now to buy good enough players to achieve something. Like we've done, although I am suspicious when it comes to our present strikers and their ability to make it in the Prem.

But IF someone some day will take over, I hope the owners are British. It won't be a big deal if they aren't, but I just hope our club to remain in British hands.

And as far as I've understood right, we are one of the wealthiest clubs in the Prem, althought we propably can't spend 30+ millions to one single player?

The present owners are doing a fine job and I hope they will continue to do it.
