hi some of you may remember the group that attempted to take over liverpool before it was taken over by the yanks well they are rivals with the group that has taken over man city they are apparantley very pissed with the news that they brought a team in the leauge before they did this to companys are very big rivals as i said one is from dubai one from abu dhabi and both like to think they are the biggest and the best rumors going round in the city this morning is that the dubai group are going to be buying a club very soon and the two clubs there looking at are us and a club just down the road the smart money and most of the rumour is that they have already held talks with ourselfs about a takeover and it may jusy happen now as they did not expect this abu dhabi group to beat them to it and trust me anyone that has been to dubai nows that they like to be the best at everthing so if these rumours are correct spurs could soon be spending big money

They'll probably buy West Ham. Then their fans will spend ages talking trash to us as they lose their soul.

Thanks got the news . Here it is with some punctuation:

Hi some of you may remember the group that attempted to take over liverpool before it was taken over by the yanks well they are rivals with the group that has taken over man city.

They are apparantley very pissed with the news that they brought a team in the leauge before they did this to companys are very big rivals.

As i said one is from dubai one from abu dhabi and both like to think they are the biggest and the best.

Rumors going round in the city this morning is that the dubai group are going to be buying a club very soon and the two clubs there looking at are us and a club just down the road.

The smart money and most of the rumour is that they have already held talks with ourselfs about a takeover and it may jusy happen now as they did not expect this abu dhabi group to beat them to it.

Trust me anyone that has been to dubai nows that they like to be the best at everthing so if these rumours are correct spurs could soon be spending big money.

Hi. Some of you may remember the group that attempted to take over Liverpool (before it was taken over by the yanks) are rivals with the group that has taken over Man City. They are apparantley very pissed with the news that they brought a team in the league before they did.

These two companies are very big rivals as I said one is from dubai, one from Abu Dhabi and both like to think they are the biggest and the best.

Rumors going round in the city this morning is that the dubai group are going to be buying a club very soon and the two clubs they're looking at are us and a club just down the road. The smart money and most of the rumour is that they have already held talks with ourselves about a takeover and it may just happen now as they did not expect this abu dhabi group to beat them to it.

Trust me, anyone that has been to Dubai knows that they like to be the best at everthing so if these rumours are correct Spurs could soon be spending big money!

Fixed. But now I have a headache.

Fingers crossed we will get someone take over who isnt afraid to spend a little extra to get a player like arshavin...

Also someone who will be willing to break our wage structure.

I cant see Levy selling?

I dont know if I would want it or not.

Pros and cons im sure, but after reading the opening block of words my head hurts too much to weigh them up.

We should be a very buyable club, great potential, great players, big fan base, very marketable abroad, new stadium plans in the pipeline. I would welcome a take over if they are prepared to take us to the next level

Maybe we could buy Arsenals stadium off them and use it as a bus depot to taxi all the 'new fans' we would aquire once we bought some world stars to our home matches in our new 100k super stadium

I'm not too keen on foreign investors to be honest. But first and foremost, i want our club to succeed. We've spent big money again this summer but we still seem short of the top 4 teams. If it means success for the forseeable future and a brand new Stadium, then i'm all for it. Provided we keep in the black. Otherwise, i prefer us to remain one of few teams that turns a profit each year and still has funds for the likes of Bentley and Modric etc.

i'm glad abramovic didn't buy spurs, and i also don't our club to become an arab 'toy'. I want to spurs to get in the chamions league in an honourable and decent way, so we also get the respect of our fellow football fans. anyway, you just know its going to tits up at city :)

The more billionaires that start throwing money about the less likely it is that we can ever be any kind of success.

Don't trust those guys. Once they've lost interest in their new toys, they'll just vamoose. In any case, don't really think Dubai can keep the pace for another 20 years when oil runs out.

Levy is a businessman, if a very good offer comes in he will sell. I've had talksport on all day today and these rumours are also surfacing on there so I would not be suprised, financially the club is in a very good position for a takeover, Levy would get top dollar i'm sure.

I am a little worried when it comes to deals like this, in one way it would be brilliant because a club like Spurs could bring in some excellent players BUT in the back of my mind is "what if"

"what if they leave us hanging out to dry"
"what if they get found to be corrupt like Thaksin"

Although can you imagine how exciting transfer windows would be with us if we had a bottomless pit! We would be linked with every excellent/good/half decent player on the planet!
